They stopped serving Fried Okra. And no longer give crunchies in the meals.

This time I was in town and Tried the LJS here again. And they must hired some new ppl because it was probably the best I have had in a really long time.

Was not impressed with the staff, or the food. The staff was slow and could not keep the different orders straight and because of a lack of communication between the front and the back of the restaurant it took about 20 minutes to get our food which tucked. Then everything was super oily. Because they were rushed in the back and didn't give the food time to drain the oil it was cooked in. Very disappointed

I am unaware of who was working on this night but my husband and I were sitting in the drivethru and no one even attempted to take our order after we tried getting someone’s attention. I ended up having to go inside and order because we were basically being ignored in the drivethru.

Ordered. Fish/Chicken platter and Fish/Shrimp platter. Set in drive thru for 25 minutes then they come to tell me I’d have to wait for chicken unless I’d take an extra piece of fish and I could be on my way. Took that offer for I had waited so long. Husband got

stopped by while i was out in pikeville, pulled in to see that cars were WRAPPED around the building! we decided to go in, and they did NOT disappoint. the long line made sense; it was absolutely worth the wait. everything was hot, fresh, & so tasty!! workers were so nice, despite having to keep up with the demand. thanks so much!! we'd love to stop by when in town again :))

Drive thru staff was very rude and lied about only serving waffle fries. It’s pathetic that there is only one LJS left in this area and it’s terrible

The associates were very disrespectful, we were in line for 45 minutes and we got to the window and it was like 5 minutes after 9. All for the manager to tell us that we couldn’t be waited on and he didn’t “expect their associates to stand outside the freaking door and hold a sign saying that they’re open.” And the place was very gross looking.

I visited the restaurant today, and the food was the freshest that I have gotten at any other Long John's. The servers were nice, and the service was fast. The only thing they could improve on is their selection of diet drinks.

The team behind the counter are stellar. I was just passing by and stopped for a burger and root beer float. The employees were super friendly and helpful. I love Appalachia hospitality!
