Went today for a 5$ meal and they put pickles on my sandwich on accident. When I asked the worker they said they’d remake it but instead just went inside and took the pickles off (I could see where they were on the cheese). Laziness and also unsanitary because they took food I was looking through back into the kitchen.

I don’t know if this place has just went under new management/ownership… but these managers—some old, but mostly new are not up to what should be expected. Debbie has been rude since the beginning of time. Nothing has changed on that end, still dread driving into this mcdonald’s and be greeted by SCREAMING and acting like i am the biggest disgrace because i don’t want cheese on a burger!! To debbie: do better. you need to understand you are the face of this mcdonald’s because you are so rude. people know you as the rude lady from coal run. I am not sure of the one managers name but he was always so nice and had thoughtful conversations with me. I think his name was Jackson? He was extremely helpful and kind and always made the best iced coffees, I know he was in college and talked about his new job, I hope he is well but know… I miss his service at this restaurant because it has truly went downhill since him and Tyler have left. The ice coffee now is TERRIBLE.
Do better this service has dropped to a level of almost unable to eat. If it was not close to work compared to the other McDonald’s, I would go to the other ones in a heartbeat, but lunch goes quick in a slow drive thru.

I’ve almost always had a pleasant experience at the coal run McDonald’s.
Kid-friendliness: McDonald’s has always been kid friendly, although it’s missing the play place, it’s still a comfortable atmosphere to take the kids for a dine in experience.

My hubby and I visited this restaurant on 10/30/24. I have to express my delight in seeing such a clean, warm and friendly staff, calm, yet efficient running McDonalds. We travel a lot and always stop at many of them. I have never seen such clean, well stocked, and fresh smelling bathrooms either, EVER. I had to congratulate Shelia, the manager on her accomplishments. She should be promoted and asked to share her techniques to other restaurants. Great Job, Shelia! We love you ❤️

Extremely disappointing experience. I mostly use the drive-through, and while they have double lanes, they don’t alternate taking orders efficiently. This creates absolute chaos 🚗💨 with cars competing to move ahead, rather than a smooth flow. Almost every time, they ask you to park and wait, with three or four cars piled up 🚙🚙🚙, often parked over 100 feet away from the door—logistically, it’s a mess.
The staff seem clueless 😕. Nearly every employee either doesn’t know what to do, has to ask the customer for instructions, or needs someone else to handle the situation for them. 🤦♂️🤷♀️
And let’s be honest: McDonald’s used to be a budget-friendly option. Not anymore 💸. The prices here are now comparable to Wendy’s, Subway, and Burger King—no more $0.99 deals, and feeding a family can get pricey 💵🍟.
I’m not sure what happened, but service and quality have gone downhill, possibly due to a change in management or ownership over the past year. I won’t be coming back to this McDonald’s. 👋

Everytime I order form this location they always get most the order wrong. They will get 1 to 2 things right. Like today me and my sister went. I ordered 2 mcChickens extra pickles. They put reg pickles and added onions... then my sister order a Dite Dr Pepper. They gave her ice tea. What world are they on.
