Peking Chinese Restaurant Reviews
Tried this place today. I would say this is one step above dog food. Cold and bland. A lot of the trays were empty the entire time I was there. They had only one bar of food and one bar of salad. Not much to choose from. With this little to offer it would seem they could at least keep it full and hot. Or at least serve something decent. I do not recommend this place. I'll never go back there again.
The first part of my review is for Hibachi. Since Andy sold Hibachi it has went down hill so bad. The servers are terrible and extremely slow. It looks like they just hire anybody off of the street, no experience or training required. Nobody ever asks if you need anything or if we need a refill. Peking Chinese Restaurant offers a buffet with a variety of fresh dishes, although some may be hit or miss. While the egg rolls can be burnt, the rest of the food is generally perfect and fresh. The buffet features a salad bar, dessert bar, and hot bar, along with an ice cream machine that serves vanilla, chocolate, and combination flavors. The service is friendly and top-notch, with waitstaff ready to assist. The restaurant has a simple atmosphere with two TVs, one showing news. It does not have a seafood-heavy menu, but its stuffed crab dish remains a favorite. Recent reviews highlight the cleanliness of the buffet bar and the freshness of the food. The honey chicken could use improvement, but the fried chicken is noted for being hot and cooked all the way through. Guests appreciate the convenient location, excellent service, and the option for takeout. Overall, Peking Chinese Restaurant is a good choice for those seeking a variety of Chinese dishes, making it a popular spot for dining and takeout.
