Tried this place today. I would say this is one step above dog food. Cold and bland. A lot of the trays were empty the entire time I was there. They had only one bar of food and one bar of salad. Not much to choose from. With this little to offer it would seem they could at least keep it full and hot. Or at least serve something decent. I do not recommend this place. I'll never go back there again.

Was good food but was really ticked off cuz I was charged extra cuz they switched over food n I got a rib meat n my waitress charged me more but didn’t charge the people next to me n the got the same thing I did so I was really irritated over that I’ve been here many times I don’t believe I’ll be back n our waitress never come to us another waitress did for us while ours talked to apparently someone she knew

Loved it! It was my first time, but we'll definitely be returning. The steak is amazing! Food & a fun little show. Our hibachi chef did great and interacted wonderfully with all of the kids in our party.

Oh Peking... SMH..... For a place to be as packed and busy as they stayed the entire time we were there, the food was just subpar. The stuffed mushrooms taste like rancid burger, I told the bar attendant, yet it started out. Everything else was just ok, won't be a revisit for us.

The first part of my review is for Hibachi. Since Andy sold Hibachi it has went down hill so bad. The servers are terrible and extremely slow. It looks like they just hire anybody off of the street, no experience or training required. Nobody ever asks if you need anything or if we need a refill. The chefs are awful, I don’t think they have ever been trained either. The food quality is horrible, filets are no longer high quality meat. They are fatty and even taste old at times.. They way over book reservations and still take walk ins. Normally a table seats no more than 10 and I’ve been seated at a table for 16 and 17 more than once. They have Ppl eating at the corner of the table and not even enough room to move ur arm to eat comfortably. If you plan on eating there make sure you have at least 2 to 3 hours. You will wait about an hour in lobby to be seated and over an hour before your chef ever gets started. It’s ridiculous. I was a regular customer at hibachi and now that it’s so terrible I will no longer waste my money there. Instead I now eat next door at Peking, which brings me to the 2nd part of my review. Peking in Coal Run has the absolute best Chinese/Japanese food in Pikeville. The buffet contains nothing but fresh and high quality food. The hibachi at Peking is outstanding. It’s always cooked to perfection. The servers are extremely nice and helpful. Always checking on their customers. If you are looking for excellent Asian food I recommend Peking in Coal Run 1st!! I will also recommend 123 Cafe if you are looking for a to go restaurant or a faster type of Asian food restaurant. However I do NOT recommend Hibachi and I hope nobody else wastes their money by eating at that establishment.
