Food was fantastic, place was spotless, waitress Lilly was sweet,and gave us great service. The sweet tea and biscuits and gravy was awesome.. we will return if we come back to Tennessee.

I don't know exactly what I expected going here, but holy smokes. Talk about yummy! We gor fried green tomatoes for an appetizer, and honestly, I am a FGT snob... none are ever nearly as good as mine, but these were better!!!! I got the beef Manhattan, and I 100% recommend it! So, so so delicious and ZERO fat!!!! Hubby had the catfish special and some chicken livers and raved about both (I don't care for either). If you're in the area, or not even that close, but want a great meal, do yourself a favor and check this place out! Idk know our waitresses' name, but she was on top of it and super friendly. We were so impressed we even tipped the cook!

I wanted to give this place 5 stars. But after waiting forever for mediocre food at best, having all the waitresses distracted by their friends and getting cold soggy fries… I simply cannot. The Jon Boy was burnt- nasty. The catfish- over cooked and eh- but after waiting forever, you would think the fries would be hot. Nope. Went to pay and wasn’t asked if everything was okay- clearly wasn’t so I guess she knew, although that may be giving too much credit. I get they are trying to make a go of it- but this isn’t the way. I wasted 70 MINUTES on getting an app and 2 sandwiches. Just not worth it.

My 2 daughters and I went in to eat lunch. All the tables were full or needing cleaned. A blonde waitress ignored us, but a brown haired girl finally got us and told us she'd find us a table and clean it. She was super nice the whole time. When we were done eating, the blonde had asked if we needed anything. I asked for to go boxes and a to go order I had placed. She never brought them, came and started cleaning tables and other things. The brown haired girl came around asked if we needed anything, I told her same thing, and she got them right away. A woman named Karen was busy the whole time working, cleaning, she was super nice. Overall, knowing it was a busy time for them, they done good. Maybe the blonde was just distracted that day, idk....I also eat here alot through take out. They usually have good specials, and the portions are usually decent sized.
