Stopped at the Country Cafe for dinner while in the area for a couple of days. My hubby had a chicken quesadilla that he said was very good. I had catfish with carrots and green beans which was, also, very good. We got dessert to go because we were too full to eat it there. They have a sizable menu with plenty of choices. Our waitress was a sweetheart!
Best dang pork chops I've had in a long while. All the food here was fresh and so tasty, well seasoned and a decent portion. The prices were good too.
Service was friendly and laid back but we didn't mind slowing down for a minute, it's nice to sit and enjoy a meal without feeling rushed.
For a first visit it was really good and I'll be back for sure!

Stopped in for lunch after the Big South Fork scenic railroad trip.
Food was excellent, chicken & dumpling special and chicken chef salad. Cornbread is the best I've had in a long time, savory..yum.
