Luckily the food made up for the wait. I’m not usually a fan of places without table service. I believe you have to make up for it a lot in other aspects and that can be difficult. My wife and I both ordered burgers and admittedly it was a little pricey for the side to be Lays chips. We waited over 45 minutes for the burgers and even after that they messed up my wife’s burger. I’m not one to speak up usually because I’ve worked in the service industry before but I had to ask how much longer it’d be because I had my food and my wife was still waiting. The burgers however are one of the best I’ve had. You can tell they’re handmade and all of the toppings were fresh. It may just be that they’re short staffed but the service and wait times could definitely improve. They also ran out of water glasses too. The bathrooms need additional attention as well, no paper towels and no trash bags. The lid for the can was just placed on the floor. Minor setbacks for a restaurant that does have really good food. When you’re in a tourist area you need that first impression because most of your visitors won’t be regulars. When you have one time visitors and that first impression isn’t great you risk hurting your reputation.

we stopped in on our way out from a very long hike, we were so tired & just wanted a place to relax & grab a snack & drink before we went home. we were greeted with kind staff, handed menus & told to have a seat wherever we liked. the environment was so welcoming & yet very calming. the food was AMAZING & very well portioned. this place is overall amazing & a hidden gem. we will most definitely be back!!

Visited with my family while in the area for Red River Gorge. Ended up getting the Barbeque Dog and a Cougar Bait on draft! My husband got the Epic Journey and the Amber Ale!

Pulled Chicken Nachos as my main course with a can of Mt Dew.
Clean and fun location. Love the decor. They offer entertainment but not at the day/time of my visit. Food was very affordable and very large portion! I had enough for both lunch and dinner that day.
I personally wish it wasn't cans because I can drink 2 or 3 with a meal and didn't want to get back up and pay again and didn't want to purchase up front so that they stayed cold. It's not a deal breaker for me but it's just not my preferred drink option.
