It took 45 minutes to get our food there was no soap in the bathroom food was cold waitress was rude the paper towel dispenser did not work.Will never eat here again

For me this place has a great staff. They are attentive and consistent. The atmosphere of the place was very calm and fit the menu. The menu was a bit aged and could do with a replacement or significantly repaired. The food was an issue for me both in preparation time and completion. The burger was very small when advertised as large and was overcooked. The fries were overcooked as well. The fish was fine but not anything to write home about. The food for our group took about an hour to get and the restaurant was sparse. If you're going here to have a chill time as a group and some cheap food then it's perfect. But if your coming here for food, I hope you have a better experience.

Had catfish nibler plate with baked potato and coleslaw,, also side salad...and fritters,, salad , baked potato and fritters and salad were great,,, coleslaw was terrible and catfish was OK ,,, the packaged tartar sauce on table tasted weird... not in a good way ...

Sadly had not ate there in over 20 yrs. Our older waitress tried . My father is 86 yrs old and he wanted catfish. Husband and him got the catch platter, I got fried oyster platter . Hum seems cook doesn’t know how to do those. They was golden on the out side yet the breading was raw and the the oyster seemed to be from can. First bite was last. Catfish has cornmeal dip not battered and they was cooked hot. White beans straight out of can and coleslaw was over taken by green peppers. Couldn’t taste the actual slaw. Moving on to the hush puppies.. just more less cornbread taste no onion in it. When this place opened up .. they had pickled green tomatoes for side no more on that item. Sad to see it go down.

The catfish was dry, baked potato brown on the inside. Hush puppies were bland. Fried mushrooms were great. Good portions, just not great food. Hopefully it was a bad night there…..just tried it for a second time.. ordered a four piece catfish meal naked potato hush puppies Cole slaw. I got it delivered, only two tiny pieces of fish. Potato was good but extremely small. Cole slaw was like soup. I called out on hold for a while. They came back and said next time I order they will give me two extra pieces of fish. Then no lie she proceeds to tell me they had a rush and a lot of people got shorted. They had to make sure they had enough for the orders they had, and everyone was complaining. She basically admitted they were aware they ripped people off. I was splitting this meal with my friend, didn’t happen. They also told me to call door dash and get my money back, they only gave me half of the total. NEVER AGAIN

Ordered carryout. Always fresh, food is always very well prepared. I normally will order carryout 2-4 times a month.
The sweet potato was hard as a rock. My 1st bite of fish still had the bloodline and was terrible tasting. I got there before the noon rush, but it took forever for my order to be brought out. I wanted to give this place a good review, but it doesn't even deserve a 1 rating.

Burger was better expected, fried shrimp were good, catfish was good did have one piece that was dark but had zero hopes of being a good meal. So I was pleased with the experience. A better selection of sauces would be nice as I am not a fan of Kraft individual serving type sauces.

Catfish was very blandly seasoned and unremarkable. Oysters were good and so were the hushpuppies. Really disappointed with the fish. Service was fine.Atmosphere ok but nothing too interesting.Probably won't be back for the catfish which we love.
