Although we're not local, I spent a lot of my childhood in Floyd County with family. Was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant in terms of food quality and atmosphere, remembering the state of things in Prestonsburg in say, the 1990s.
Food was satisfying. Waitstaff was pleasant enough. Only drawbacks were that the portions were on the smaller side compared to the larger plates of similar style restaurants and waitstaff seemed overwhelmed by the crowd at the restaurant, which caused delays or feeling like your waiter disappeared. But, I found those things to be minor.
Still, a nice little surprising place in Prestonsburg to have a meal.

Food is usually good and service is usually pretty good. It's usually pretty tidy, but some of the fluorescent lighting needs to be replaced since they're continuously blinking.
We were traveling stop for breakfast took forever to get coffee they served the locals before anyone else i ordered oatmeal very cold how can you mess up oatmeal won't ever go back
I’ve been here twice, the parking lot is small and the place stays crowded. Both times Ive been there was under recommendation of how good it was.
It takes a while to get served, food takes even longer to come out and may come out in an unpredictable order (my first time our appetizers didn’t show up until we were ready to leave and had forgotten about them), the foods quality is subpar and serving sizes aren’t the best and the sweet tea will give a sloth the speed of Flash.
Needless to say it doesn’t live up to the hype and it will take a lot for me to go back.

I give this restaurant a one only because the service was so bad. We sat for 40 minutes before we even placed our order we had two different servers. Both were high on drugs could just stand still couldn’t listen couldn’t pay attention and we were misinformed on the daily specials, so therefore, we had to look at the menu again to change what we had already wanted After A little while we finally got up and left we didn’t get to eat. We never even saw our food. Our newest waiter serve tables that were seated after us and that’s when I decided enough was enough. Unfortunately, it is a hard no to refer this place or ever eat there
