I started to order a side salad, which is an option, with your meal, but there's an upcharge for lettuce, tomato and all the other components of a typical salad. You can get a baked potato as a side option, but butter and sour cream are another upcharge. No BBQ sauce in my carryout. The brisket was shredded and too. dry. The pork was fine. Baked beans are very sweet. Needless to say this was my first and last meal from Pig in a Poke.
I was there in June of 2025 with a friend. The food was great the waiters and waitresses were phenomenal. The only negative thing I can say about them is that they don't have one in Missouri.
I ordered a meal that included pulled pork, chicken, brisket, and fries. The pulled pork was the best of the three. The pork was very good and tasty. The chicken and brisket was still good, but just a bit dry. The fries here are much better than standard fries from a freezer bag. They were somewhat greasy but still tasty and worth getting. There are different sauces already available at your table for you to try.
