Really good ice cream! Staff was super nice too!
The Scoop is a hidden gem in downtown Prestonsburg. The atmosphere has that quaint old-town charm with a fresh, modern flair. Love the option of outdoor seating—great for people-watching during the day or enjoying some peace in the evening.
The staff is super friendly and lets you sample any flavor before choosing. I went with the Oreo milkshake, and it was incredible: smooth, creamy, with the perfect Oreo-to-ice-cream blend. The chocolate drizzle inside the cup was a nice touch, and the homemade whipped cream on top sealed the deal.
Delicious, fun vibe, and definitely worth coming back for.

Stop by for a mommy and daughter date! Butter beer milkshake was absolutely delicious! The worker was so nice, kind and helpful!
Cute little shop. No prices on anything. The cake batter didn't taste like cake batter at all. Would go back if in the area.

Can’t say enough good things about The Scoup! You know when a business gives you that extra touch! You don’t even have to ask and they just give it that little extra touch that makes their customers experience a memorable one! Kudos for making your customers smile, even the younger ones!!!

I haven’t had the chance to visit the other location but Pikeville is amazing! Super cute and friendly service. I’ll be back with the kiddos who will surely LOVE it!
