Classic pizza house dining establishment. The smell just walking in just cries out "good pizza here." I definitely recommend a house special deep dish, but be prepared to wait for it. It's worth it though. The prices are affordable if a bit high and the service is friendly and accommodating.
The crust on my pizza seemed like they didn't allow enough time for the dough to proof. It was lacking in flavor and very tough for pizza crust. I wasn't expecting this, Pagliai's seems like a very well run restaurant.
I worked as a pizza cook in my youth and I've made a lot of pizzas, and dough. I plan to give them another chance as they seem to try to be better, and I expect this was not up to their normal standards.

Traveled all over the world and eaten pizza regularly. This is one of the two best pizzas I have ever had...and that doesn't mean it is number 2. Means I can't choose between them. Everyone needs to try this place!!! My favorite: thin crust, though I have been a thick crust girl for decades. Their pizza red sauce is soooooo good. Oh...and I drive 45 minutes to eat here dispite there being multiple pizza places within minutes of me, and I know plenty who drive further...
