Don’t let this place get by you when you visit The Bourbon Trail. They are open an hour later than nearly every other place… great marketing idea. This place is putting out some kickin’ whiskey!!! Their flagship is Abraham Lincoln around 112 proof, but they have several expressions, some paying tribute to first responders, which is awesome! My husband bought the double-oaked limited edition (see picture of Abraham himself), & this was easily my husband’s favorite bottle on our trip. Last but not least… very friendly staff.

Great people, awesome brands and a wide variety of spirits. Make it your first or last stop on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail!

An amazing place to come when you want to be surrounded by a family style distillery! Linda and Michele thank you so much for the hospitality and love I get from this place. Will always come back for St. Michele's Bourbon

We did the tour and the tasting. The tour included some history, a viewing of the distillery are and a short film. It was interesting and quite different than other bourbon tours we have done. On the tasting we did One premier and one regular. We shared and then was able to taste it all. We enjoyed mostly all of it. The Patton was not in a favorite list.
We forgot to take pictures. The crew was polite.

We stopped in due to their patriotic themes on their bottles, and the tasting didn't disappoint. Linda is fantastic. She is very knowledgeable and patient with people that don't typically enjoy bourbon or whiskey. Also, I never expected to enjoy a glass of vodka, but I did. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely be back. Thanks again, Linda!

🌟🌟🌟🌟 Boundary Oak Distillery – Small, Charming, and Full of Character

Located near Fort Knox, Boundary Oak is one of the smallest distilleries I’ve visited—but it has its own unique charm. The tour starts with a short film in a small theater, and while the guided part is relatively modest due to the size of the facility, it still offers interesting insights into their craft.

Founded in 2013 by Brent Goodin, this was the first legal distillery in Hardin County since Prohibition. What makes it special is the use of natural limestone spring water sourced from beneath a 100-year-old oak tree—a beautiful connection to its name.

The tasting includes a selection of their distinctive spirits like Lincoln Straight Bourbon, Patton Armored Diesel, and the floral St. Luke Lavender. Each bottle tells a story, and the staff adds a personal, welcoming touch.

It may not be a full-scale operation like some others on the trail, but Boundary Oak stands out for its authenticity, heritage, and heartfelt approach to bourbon-making. Worth a stop if you're in the area and enjoy small-batch, story-driven spirits.

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and it was not crowded so we're were able to do a tasting . They
Offer 2 different flights ..Flagship and Platinum. We did both so we could experience most of their products. The Platinum flight is definitely worth the extra cost.

They have a nice gift shop where you can purchase their bourbons, whiskey, vodka, wine and moonshine. They even have a Lavender Whiskey that my wife loved.

Price vary based on the age and true of bourbons.

A neat distillery with an interesting history, definitely a place to try when in the Elizabethtown area.

I recommend this stop to everyone! A very patriotic facility 🇱🇷which I really appreciate. They have a great selection of spirits to try and the lady that helped us was very friendly and helpful. My wife love the St. Luke lavender whiskey and we all enjoyed the barrel aged wine. I really enjoyed the l really liked the war eagle bourbon! The bourbons and whiskey are all pretty solid!

Michele was Amazing!!! Loved my tasting and Michele was full of knowledge and insights to the spirits. Try the lavender/honey bourbon, it plays with your senses. You smell lavender, then taste honey from this smooth 60 proof bourbon before your taste pallet is finished with a bountiful note of lavender.
