I usually eat here twice a week since they have opened. I slowed down the past three months because of the inconsistency of the brown stew chicken. Today my order was messed up twice. The new people they have working the front and the back have the worst customer service and manners. I should've checked my food before leaving because I had to drive all The way back from base for my food correction and was greeted with an attitude. The price for a large brown stew chicken plate and drink ran me 28.00. I don't mind paying but my plate looked like a kids meal version today. I've been going here for a long time and today I just refuse to go back. They lost a loyal customer. Not supporting this business any longer.

I ordered a medium curry chicken w/ white rice & a large portion of oxtail w/ rice and peas. Both come with complimentary cabbage and plantains. Y’all, the PLANTAINS 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I’m so picky about them. Sometimes you get a batch that’s mediocre other times it’s good but homemade is better. Them alone is why I’ll be returning. Just give me the curry chicken, white rice and plantains. PERFECT bite. 👌🏻 The oxtail gravy was really rich and savory! 😋 The oxtail meat was extremely tender too. Of course it was enough rice for at least 2-3 people. My only “complaint,” is I was expecting more heat (I’m used to traditional spice level of Jamaican food), my big back behind couldn’t stop eating so I kept chomping on chicken bone because it was that tender and the cabbage was under seasoned to my personal preference. For the audience here, I think it’s perfect all the way around for others to experience a different culture’s food. They have it balanced very nicely. I think it was fairly priced as well considering a pack of oxtails cost $25+ alone. I spent $35 total before tipping. It ain’t my Mimi’s (nothing is ever better than your Mimi’s home cookin) but it’s VERY close & it’ll do when I’m missing her and craving her cooking or my sister/niece’s. Please go and check them out and support our local small businesses! 🫶🏻 8.9 out of 10 for me. 🙏🏻

My wife and I wanted to try something new so we ate here last nite. So glad we did food was delicious! Since it was our first time there we got 2 samples of other food and everything was seasoned to perfection and cooked amazing. We want to try everything on their menu eventually. I highly recommend everyone to try this place!
I ordered Oxtail with rice and peas and sweet plantains , peas nowhere to find , 2 little tiny pieces of oxtail and one another little piece with a lot of sauce , portions are too little for the price , rice feels like it came from a box , no fully cooked , sweet plantain 2 little pieces no that sweet , and I paid 25 for that , cashier look clueless , still asking for tips
Food was ok, im alittle disappointing before the renovation food was on another level definitely with the portion sizes. I would drive from louisville just for this food. Hate to say it but I probably won't be back so sad.

As a truck driver it's always hard to find GOOD food.. I'm happy I stopped by. I had the jerk chicken. It was tender. The young lady behind the register was welcoming and I loved the layed back atmosphere.

This place greeted me and my sister like family and gave us a fresh, delicious meal. I got the curry chicken with white rice and my sister got the jerk pork. Both were stunning!! My chicken fell off the bone and her pork had this perfect smoky taste, I will definitely bring my family here for sure!! Prices are great imo due to the quality of the meal!!

Can’t beleive it took me sooo long to try this place. It's one of the BEST spots in Hardin County (Radcliff) that I've EVER dined at. The food is incredibly delicious and FULL of FLAVOR. GOOOO check it out and experience it for yourself! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
