Don't go here. They have no business running this place. I saw them turn people away who waited a long time. The food was not worth it anyhow. It was not authentic and so greasy. My entire party had food poisoning. Fake German food. There is a place not far that is way better.

Such a great German restaurant! Sad news they are closing in the next couple months! They will be missed greatly! So if your in the area go and show them some love.

Drove down from louisville arrived at 7 on a Friday night. Sign on the door says closed. Open by reservation only. Driving back to louisville now.

Great place to eat and the food was good. Friendly atmosphere and the service was awesome. Recommended.

If you go in the evening and get your food real fast it’s because they heat up what is left over from the lunch buffet. They do a really bad job at reheating and the temperatures are inconsistent. I’ve had some really great meals from here, but not anymore.

We were very disappointed. Meat was thin and badly over cooked. Must of the side dishes were not fresh and some were nearly gone with an hour of lunch remaining. It was vastly over priced. 15 dollars for a average lunch. Rude server.

Make a reservation if you wish to dine in. The food was fantastic and the beer is perfectly chilled and served. Appreciate the hospitality! - from Kansas City

Won't eat here again. They use to be good. Now today they don't won't to service anyone. We had to order to go and they really didn't even want to do that. They barely had any food on our plates. Not as good as they use to be. I would of gave 0 stars.

Food was absolutely amazing. However, I don’t think I’ve ever been treated so poorly by staff in my life. Was craving authentic German as we haven’t had any since moving to KY after 5 years in Baumholder. I was the only customer in there and was made to feel like I was such an inconvenience by the owner for ordering off the menu. I love supporting local but l will not visit this establishment again.

Fabulous food, Great lunch love. Small place with good German vibe. Will definitely go back.

Service is Horrible at best, they are rude, they act like they are bothered if you ask a question, they roll their eyes, if you ask a question they act putout. It was great three years ago however the people running the restaurant don't know what they are doing. They change the prices depending on who they are waiting on. It is good it is closing this year!

Just got done with our first meal here. The food is incredible and I can’t even begin to describe how amazing the owners are. We spent a good 20 minutes after lunch just talking about the business, their lives, and more. Truly enjoyed this restaurant and hope all those near Fort Knox go check it out!

It might not look like much, kind of sketch local but will worth the wait. I haven't had aa good a schnitzel since Heidelberg! Great bakery as well with puffs and fritters. They also have Hefe, Dunkel and a Pils. Truly a taste of Germany. Make reservations due to the size of eating area and check for hours of operation.

Don't go around holidays. Food is not as good. Been to this place 3 times. First 2 were the greatest German food ever. Went before Christmas and was disgusting.

Yes, this place has odd hours - but it is worth it. Very authentic and tasty german food. Just sit down and enjoy. Get desert - you will not be sorry. What a great little restaurant with some authentic german cuisine.
