My Hot Spot | Fine Dining Restaurant

No idea but I'm here on a Wednesday ar 11:15 and they are not open

I’m new to the area and I do not have my grill unpacked yet. I was running errands and saw a grill smoking and a U-turn later I was greeted by a great man named Mr. Lou! He went through the menu with me And shared all of the possible options for my dinner order. Everything sounds so good but I was honestly headed up the street for some fish. So I asked Mr. Lou to make me a whiting sandwich. The price is great , portions were generous, fresh and hot. I enjoyed my whiting sandwich. And he’s full of great advice and knowledge of his craft and the neighborhood. I’m looking forward to him offering delivery soon and weekend hours would be great but for now Monday through Friday about dinner time you’ll probably find me next to the grill.

Mr. Lou puts his heart & soul into his dishes. The ribs and sides were delicious. Great portion sizes that make for a very hearty meal. Thank you for the extra special touch. I really enjoyed all the food. I will be back!

Come check out Mr.Lou. Very nice man. And the food was 10/10. I got the stuffed chicken. Zucchini and squash and collard greens. Everything was so packed with flavor. Just amazing. Thank you again Mr.Lou!!

Great food and fast service! I got the T-Bone steak with 2 sides and it was amazing juicy, cooked and seasoned to perfection!

We really wanted to eat here but it is CLOSED DOWN!!!

Me and my family ate from this restaurant, and the food was delicious! I had the brisket meal with greens & mac n cheese & cornbread. The brisket was tender and smoked to perfection. The greens had a soulful & savory taste. I definitely enjoyed my meal and I will be coming back for more. Support locally black-owned businesses💪🏽

The family just tried the food for the 1st time & it was absolutely delicious 😋 We had the beef ribs, brisket, mango habanero chicken, sweet potatoes, greens, green beans, & mac-n-cheese. We'll definitely be back!

My husband and myself stopped to get gas and couldn't help walking over to get some of the delicious smelling food. First time stopping here and so glad we did. He greeted us outside and went over the menu thoroughly. We both ordered a burger with a side. While we waited he offered us a chicken leg, I've ate lots of chicken but you could taste the smoke and the seasoning throughout the chicken itself. Very very good. The burgers, collard greens and my squash/zucchini were great as well. We even got Cornbread wasn't expecting that. Cant wait to stop by and order some other items. I definitely want to try everything on his menu.You can tell he loves what he does. Thank you for the delishish food.

Being new to the area, and craving soulfood, it was a pleasure to find My Hot Spot. I was greeted at my vehicle and given a run down of the menu. I ended up ordering the Brisket meal.
The brisket is PHENOMENAL! I truly enjoyed and I can't wait to return to try the stuffed meatloaf and chicken.

I got the barbecue chicken with the collard greens add sweet potatoes I did not like it because the chicken was dry and burnt the greens was to spicy for me the sweet potatoes had nutmeg in them and I think there were canned I was scared to try the cornbread I don't know if I'll be back again he gave me a sample of the brisket it was really good

Mr Lou was so NICE and his food was SO GOOD. Establishment is not traditional lol it's literally I. A gas station parking lot and you just pull right in front of the store and wait for your food. I went here craving barbecue and boy did it his the spot. I'll be back when I come back to Knox

Food was amazing, brisket was juicy and the sauce was just right. The Mac n cheese was not too creamy and not even close to dry and the greens were some of the best I have had!

Mr. Lou was very pleasant to talk to and enjoyed our conversation while my food was being prepared. Price to portion was extremely reasonable.

I really wanted to like the food, however you never smell the food or grill. It appears that the grill is smoking in the late afternoon, early evening but I am pretty sure he is warming or rewarming food on it. I’m pretty sure this place has no gas to actually cook on. It’s no way a grill that large with smoke has ZERO smell. I ordered chopped brisket which was not bad, the baked beans had to be cooked a week prior and the Mac n cheese was dry and no flavor and gritty from using cheap cheese. The service was the best part!
