My favorite place in town
Amazing food, huge portions, incredible staff, fast service.
We love this place and enjoy bringing friends from out of state to try it.
For take out, you will get one tiny packet of soy sauce.
They nickel & dime you.
The general tsao chicken isn’t spicy, it’s bland.
I was disappointed

Sakura 17 Japanese Restaurant offers a diverse menu with both traditional and modern Japanese dishes, along with options from Chinese and Vietnamese cuisines. The food is generally delicious and prepared as ordered, with generous portions that often result in leftovers. The restaurant's hibachi steak with fried rice and veggies is well-liked, and the egg rolls and pork gyoza are especially tasty. Their tonkotsu ramen may not be as flavorful as some other places, but the larger portions and flavorful eggs make up for it. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing good service including small gestures like free Japanese soda. Customers have praised the reasonable prices, with many enjoying their meals, such as steak/shrimp/scallop hibachi, and finding the food to be fantastic. The layout and atmosphere may seem a bit unusual, reminiscent of fast food, but inside it is nice and welcoming. The restaurant has a convenient parking area with wheelchair accessibility, though the floor sometimes needs attention. Overall, Sakura 17 is a great choice for good food, and many customers plan to return to try more dishes like ramen, udon, and pho. The attentive staff and reasonable prices contribute to a consistently positive dining experience.
