Food always tastes fantastic!! Timing im sure but the flies at my window did get on my nerves. Definitely recommend something to get rid of them. The rest of the restaurant was all clean and stuff. Food is always hot and good! Thanks for a good place to eat!

there is absolutely no gloves being worn at all while the food was being prepared. If you looked one minute someone’s food is being held bare handed being dressed and next minute they’re holding personal items. Screams germs and cross contamination. It was busy but you could very much tell the cook and waitress was very overwhelmed and cook seemed to have been taking it out on the waitress and just felt like we listened to someone treating their coworker poorly. The food looked good that we were served but was tasteless. The sides were cold. Also felt mislead being given a menu with so many meal options then told half of it wasn’t available I’d rather have a menu given of the food that would be served that day not the food that possibly could have been served.

Bobbies is quiet, staff are friendly, and the food is affordable and good.
I have eaten there several times, when it first became Bobbie’s the food was good but then as time went on, I don’t know if she left for a while and left someone else in Charge, but there was a man running it with some young girls, I had stopped eating there because every time I went they did not have what I asked for and they would offer me something different not just one item, It was on multiple items so I just got up and left, I go to a restaurant to eat what I want not what they have left. Another time, I ordered a cheeseburger with onion rings. My cheeseburger was raw so they took my whole plate back and when they brought it back to me, the burger was done, but my onion rings were burnt because apparently they Reheated those. Not long ago, I ordered Beef tips with mashed potatoes and green beans, the beef tips were little cubes of meat that was tough as rubber , they needed to be simmered all day to be tender, The mashed potatoes had a dried skin on top and a green beans taste like they had just come out of the can and heated up with no seasonings whatsoever. I’m not trying to be mean I’m just stating what I experienced. After that many times of trying, I don’t see myself going back anytime soon. I don’t know if Bobbie is aware of this, but she needs to know these things.

Bobbie's Old Time Kitchen is a unique, locally owned diner that offers good food at a good price. The atmosphere is nostalgic, low-key and was quiet when we were there on a Wednesday early evening in July. The service was spot-on and we had no issues or concerns. Our bill was about $25. I had grilled chicken, green beans and a side salad with water to drink. My companions ordered tenderloin breakfast and a porkchop sandwich with a side of beets and a soda.

First time there, traveling through after a family members funeral. If you’re able stop in you won’t be disappointed. The only bad thing about this place is choosing what to order. Great country food and service, and the price is very reasonable. It’s a good thing I live 3 hours away or I would be putting on a lot of weight. It’s a small place, but you should definitely stop in with the family, or just yourself. When I’m in the area again I will definitely make sure, maybe even detour to eat there again. Keep doing what you’re doing there ladies. WOW . Only spent a little over $30, for three very healthy appetites, with extras.

Well, I guess i ordered the wrong food! I ordered the country fried steak with green beans and mashed potatoes and a biscuit. Maybe, it was an off day. We all have those. I was hoping for homemade country fried steak, but it had been, by the looks of it, a frozen fried steak patty (we all know the uniform shape sold in the stores). Even the biscuit was disappointing, or was it hardtack. It was sad! Good in a pinch if you can't get into cool air any place else because they are full up and you don't want corporate company store food. Will try again and hopefully be updating this post.

We made our first visit to Bobbie's today - wow! Very happy to see the large menu, friendly staff, and clean restaurant. I had a double cheeseburger, my fiance had a single cheeseburger. Came with fries and coleslaw, a large helping of each. Everything was great! Our totals came out to about $9 a person, including the pops we got. Can't beat it! We'll definitely be making a return trip!
