My boyfriend and I spent the Fourth of July weekend exploring the Red River Gorge, and naturally, we needed some brisket and mac & cheese to make it a real holiday. That search brought us hereāand thank goodness it did.
The vibe was on pointālaid-back, inviting, and full of that smoky BBQ magic in the air. The staff were all super friendly, and then the food came outā¦ and I basically blacked out from happiness.
The brisket had this beautiful char that somehow managed to be smoky, juicy, and melt-in-your-mouth tender all at once (seriously, how?). The broccoli salad completely surprised meāin the best way. It had a refreshing vinegar kick, was crisp and cool, and thankfully skipped the overly creamy route. Perfect side on a hot day.
I fully meant to take photos, but once the food hit the table, my brain said, āNope, weāre eating now.ā Cocktails were also a hitāstrong, tasty, and just the thing to wash it all down.
We loved it so much, we came back again before leaving and went straight for the ribs and cobbler. And somehow, those were even better?! Consider me a lifelong fan. If youāre in the area, do yourself a favor and go. Just maybe wear stretchy pants

This place is delicious. The brisket was on point the smoke ring the trim of fat the melting in my mouth . Ah a chefs kiss! Peach cobbler delicious however would have liked more filling but that cobbler was good. The ribs delicious not as good as the brisket but weāre splitting hairs on that my girlfriend found the ribs to be better than the brisket. She loved the broccoli salad great crunch and vinegar flavor not too creamy. I loved the sweet potatoes just mmm butter a little sweetness yum. Thank you red pointe for the memories. Staff was awesome. Service was great knowledgeable and just made me feel very welcomed. Good job guys pat yourself on the back

My fried chicken was perfect and my wife's shrimp and grits were the best we've had in years. Mac and cheese was exceptional!
Hidden gem tucked away in the mountains of red river gorge! Don't be deterred by the extra drive and unsuspecting facade if the building, this place is brimming with ambience and amazing food and craft cocktail experiences. The brisket was so tender I didn't need to cut it, just melted on the fork. The Mac and cheese, house salad, and Nashville hot chicken are all worth the try!! Definitely coming back if I'm in the area again!
Also recommend the old fashioned simple yet delicious.
This place sounded good and man, it did not disappoint! The blackened catfish with baked potato and broccoli salad were seriously some of the best I have ever had. Add a great atmosphere and our server - Dana - made for a truly memorable experience!

OMG best brisket I've ever had. Beats any BBQ place I've been to. Food and service are amazing. Sauce is good but the meat is so good you don't even need it. Can't wait to come back soon!!! Highly recommend this place!!!! Outdoor patio looks nice for warm weather!
