We love good Mexican food but to find it in Russell Springs was a lovely surprise. Our food was hot and delicious. The service was awesome and the value for the money was tremendous.

Our family comes here every time we are in town from Michigan. They never disappoint, always busy and always friendly.
What we got: 7 mares soup, it had great flavor but mostly imitation crab. The birria tacos were really good,my fav. Street tacos were good too. The molcajetes cactus pieces were too thick, and would of been much better with a sear, the thick fleshy pieces overwhelmed the dish, the steak was chewy and the chorizo tasted more like kielbasa.
The chicken salad was ok,since it was a delivery, dressing should of came on the side. The sopapias were much different than Ive ever had. They were 2 fried nachos with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. I'm used to fried dough with a syrup sauce, but it was tasty. The cevichi was ok, but I've never had it without fresh lemon,or loads of cilantro, garlic and onion. It was on the bland side.
Our tamales were good.
Overall,we were pleased with our food, it's freshness and the work it took to get it to us in a timely manner. With all that said,it's the best Mexican food we've found since coming from out of state.

Restaurantji Recommends
Boiled chicken rolled into a tortilla is not a chimchanga. No seasoning and not deep fried.
Great little place, really good food.
Had dinner for the first time in this restaurant. The staff who could speak english was very courteous. However, with twenty staff members running around frantically, most of them, women and then only one english man running around multitasking. What's kind of off putting. Watched 2 sets of six top table customers walk in the door Standing in line halfway in the restaurant and halfway out of the restaurant, letting flies inside and the air conditioning outside after waiting for an incredible time 1 set of the six top table, customers walked out. Probably, due to the fact that the staff did not acknowledge all the customers properly. As someone who has been in the food industry for decades to watch this was devastating. It's incredible how they would manage to keep their business, regardless of the fact that the food was pretty decent. But also on that note, my friends dinner was served incorrectly. She wanted all beef in her meal and she ended up with chicken and beef. We also both asked for sour cream and piccanti sauce. They gave us one bowl of sour cream to split.
This was definitely unprofessional. The frozen Margarita's. We're not exactly frozen, either more like slush

The food is good but you better get what you want by the time your food gets there because if not you won't get it. Service is absolutely horrible.
