The atmosphere here is amazing. And, the food! It’s all from scratch, made to order, and never frozen. We got to speak with the owner, and she and her family are awesome. La Fonda is definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area! I HIGHLY recommend the Yummilicious Special—best shrimp I’ve ever had. Great food and great people. La Fonda had it all.
Indoor and outdoor seating available (weather permitting). Friendly service. I ordered the ceviche tostadas. They come with some homemade spicy picked onions. If you don't like spice, don't eat them as they're spicy but delicious. The tostadas were wonderful. My husband ordered the chorizo and shrimp burrito, and it was good.
This is a new favorite restaurant. The food and selection is some of the best we have ever had. We don’t live nearby but drive through sometimes. We had been looking for a nice place to stop during our long drive. Not only does this place deliver on the best food, it was also a great deal for my money.
