After viewing pictures of their meals on the review section, I noticed that we have the exact same dishes ! The blue plates with the brown ring around the outside. 5 stars for your fun taste in dishware! Only looked at this town because my name is Russell.

me and my husband used to drive over a hour to eat here it was amazing, we haven’t been here in a while (not even a year) but today we stopped by and it has changed completely, not in a good way either. we got 2 drinks, fries, mushrooms and chicken. EVERY. SINGLE. THING. changed even down to the sauces, the ranch was runny and so was the ketchup, it all tasted horrible. not to mention we payed over $50 for a small amount of food just for it to be nasty. just to top it off while we was waiting for our to go order the whole entire place smelled like people was everywhere spreading their cheeks to air it out, it was much worse then a porta potty that’s been in the sun all day. this experience definitely made us never want to come back in fact we’re staying as far as we can away. we will absolutely NOT be back, if you’re willing to come here and waste money on a small amount of food and smell sweaty cheeks the whole time this is the place for you but just wear a hazmat suit if you don’t you will regret it.

If I could leave 0 Stars I would, not sure if they had an off day but everything we ordered was burned and over cooked. I ordered a BLT with Fries and the Bacon, Toast and Fries where so burned the only thing you could taste was charred Food, my husband ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries and it was burned beyond recognition. This was our first time here and will be our last, wasted over 41 dollars for food we couldn't eat and threw away.

I opted for the shrimp basket after being told by employee they would only eat the burgers there. The shrimp was way over fried in old oil. The mashed potato’s were a mix of real potato’s and instant potato. Husband had a burger and tots. Burger was edible. Tots were over fried- Staff were friendly. I would not recommend.

We ordered large Chef Salads. Came with garlic toast. I asked the size difference between large and small. Was told both come in the same size pie pan, but she said the large was literally filled to overflowing. They weren't even filled over the top of the pie pan. The toast is the only thing that stuck out, so that was disappointing for $25. There was a good amount of toppings, just almost no lettuce. Only other thing we both noticed is that they come with turkey and ham. We are pretty sure ours had chicken instead of turkey on them.

The atmosphere was great as it's a quirky -funky joint with great service in Russellville. But the food was meh. Fries were soggy. The kiddos said the chicken (fried sandwich & tenders) was chewy. Maybe it was an off night. I would go solo & try something else, not w/the fam.

A serendipitous find! Driving the less known roads, we started getting hungry for lunch and happened across Slappyz Family Diner - what a wonderful gem! The true corn meal catfish (no flour in the meal) was the best I've ever eaten, and the hush puppies were incredible too!
We met a few friends there and we all had a good time. Our food was great!

Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich & fries for pickup. The chicken was way over cooked, almost charred on one side, it was so dry & tough, asked for mayo & pickles, it didn’t have either. Fries were extremely salty, so salty you couldn’t eat them. Also Ordered a grilled chicken salad (whole) it literally had maybe a cup of lettuce. Toppings were few. This used to be our favorite place to eat. It seems like the food has declined & the price did the opposite.
