There's not a lot of places to eat in Prestonsburg. There were six of us family members that stopped in for lunch. The food was okay; I've had better Mexican food. The server wasn't fluent in English and we had a hard time communicating. He got a couple of things wrong on our orders because he wasn't understanding english!? This is the USA and English is the language of our nation. When the checks came, even though there were only six of us they put an automatic gratuity on the check. I'm glad we caught that otherwise he would have been getting double gratuities. I think that's a sneaky practice and we didn't appreciate it. We had split checks and I don't think the other party realized there was already a gratuity add it in and therefore he double tipped.

The Paintsville location is 100% better! MUCH better service, better food, more options. Every time we have been to this location the workers are nowhere to be found 9 times out of 10, the wait is much longer and the food just isn't very good.
Someone needs to tell them they open at 11. Guy was at the door talking on the phone when I pulled up. Walked away when I came to door and door was locked. It was 11:30

Came here on a Sunday afternoon. It was busy and they appeared to be shorthanded. The girl taking orders left us for 30 minutes or more after ordering so by then our drinks were empty and our chips were eaten and we still hadn’t received the cheese dip I ordered. Finally waved her down and asked for refills. It took over an hour to get our food after ordering. The food was okay but not worth waiting 1 1/2 hours for.

The Mexican food was decent but it had to be brought to us by someone in the kitchen because the only thing the waiter did was take the order after sitting for one full hour! And btw I didn’t get chips until about 45 mins in.I ordered a hamburger and fries for my son and he ate because he was hungry but he said he could only handle eating half because it was cold and nasty fries as well.The waiter continued to walk past us and I had to stand in front of the kitchen to get noticed.The waiter missed bringing some of my order.The bean dip was about 1/10 bean and the rest was cheese.We had no silverwareWe were on a time frame and we barely made the deadline.As a tourist there are few dinners so this was the only thing open past 5 and my family and I have been here twice each time horrible serviceWe will not be going againI normally tip very well and even more to small businesses because I know there isn’t much work in the areaI did not tip what so ever at all it still cost $45 for bean dip hamburger fries and one fajita dinner. Oh and not only did I have to hover for silverware I also asked for extra plates and I had to get them as well for myself.After I got up and went to the hostess to pay the waiter then jumped up from the table he had been rolling silverware and looked for his tipThen he huffed scolded and said they left me nothing as he sat downMaybe just maybe he will get the clue and do better next time

I was there today 12/21/23 with my family. I ordered the Burrito Popeye and it was delicious. Large portions and so flavorful. I brought half my meal home. Also best salsa I’ve had a Mexican restaurant in a very long time. I personally think salsa should have cilantro and theirs does. Excellent restaurant

I was seated quickly, got my drink, chips, and salsa immediately after. It took 11 minutes for someone to get my order. They were not busy at all. I ordered a Fajita Texanas. The food came out quickly after I placed my order, I got the skillet with the beans, rice, and tortillas coming 2 minutes later. I never was checked on again by anyone and wasn’t even thanked when I paid for my food. I have eat in restaurants all over the country and this one by far has to be the worst customer service I’ve experienced. If you don’t care about customer service I recommend it, the food is great. If you do care about customer service, don’t waste your time or money.
