About Earl G Dumplin's

Earl G Dumplin's offers a variety of comfort food options, from chicken livers to catfish and chicken fried chicken, all cooked to perfection. The warm buns and baby bakers remain favorites, and the frog legs and catfish are tasty, although the breading can be a bit thick. Sides like apple and greens are delicious, and the prices are amazing for the generous portions. The atmosphere may be busy, but the service is friendly and attentive, with the owner being nice to customers.

Recent reviews highlight the Reuben sandwich as the best in years and praise the restaurant's ability to accommodate large groups with quick service and good food at good prices. The food is noted as nice and hot, with the salad bar reminiscent of old-school salad bars. The chicken liver dinner, served with huge portions, is reasonably priced, although some found the livers overcooked. The catfish and sides like turnip greens and cornbread received high praise. Overall, Earl G Dumplin's is described as a gem of southern hospitality, worth the drive for its delicious home cooking and excellent customer service.

The food here is delicious! They give you big potions too. I got the teriyaki chicken, green beans and baked potato. My husband got the country fried steak, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. We both got a salad from the salad bar. Everything on the bar was very fresh. We will definitely be back.

We had a great meal today. I ordered Catfish with 2 sides. (Mac and cheese and baby bakers!) My husband ordered the battered fish with 2 sides. Serving sizes for the entree are BIG! Lots of Catfish, and 3 big pieces of battered fish. Food tasted good as well. I would recommend Earl Gs./ a con(today, not always), We had to go ask for a waitress. Service was good after that.

Terrible food….very disturbing that they had to clean while we tried to eat…I don’t mean just sweeping the floor but cleaning windows a blinds.
