We had burgers, they were ok. The problem was the chicken. It was rubbery and horrible. Not edible. Spent 130 and everyone who got chicken still had the chicken left in their plate. We got tenders and a chicken sandwich and it was all the worst chicken we have ever tried anywhere. I feel so cheated. So much money wasted on food that even my dog turned his nose up at. I thought maybe since we paid for it we could at least have the satisfaction of knowing someone, even if it is a dog, could eat it and he refused. I will never be back to this scamming restaurant.

I have worked in the restaurant industry for years. I will volunteer my time to come train your cooks so they don’t poison any more people. My husband and I tried to dine in this establishment on Thursday October 30, 2025. We were finally able to keep a little soup down Friday evening. I figured you couldn’t mess up chicken tenders and fries, turns out you can, they did. If I had tried to pick it up, it would have slipped out of my my fingers, I have never seen food so swimming in grease. The fried mushrooms had grease just oozing out of them, no ranch to go with them, mushrooms, grease and horseradish. My husband went to the restroom and tried his best not to throw up. The entire meal was disgusting. I’m not sure when the last time the oil was changed but I’m sure it’s way overdue. We should have kept going and gotten a slice of pizza at Casey’s.
Now, for the service. The server was very gruff. She seemed like this was her second job. Perhaps she wrestled hogs during the day. I don’t know for sure, but she surely wasn’t attentive. I say that about the hogs because she’s so comfortable serving slop. She spent more time in the kitchen than she did on the floor. We were allowed ONE napkin. I know it’s Kentucky, but in Tennessee, we don’t use our sleeves, and considering all of the grease we needed reinforcements but couldn’t find her. We also couldn’t find her when we needed refills. I met her when I was leaving the ladies room, and like the true defensive lineman she is, she almost tackled me trying to get in. Ahh, such great hospitality. Her mother raised such a lady.
All in all, if I were starving, I’d wait the 45 minutes until I got home maybe grab a snack at a gas station. Who knows? If I took the chance again, I might have to have my stomach pumped. I don’t want that.

Amy was actually really good. It was only at the time of paying that the issue came. We ordered two patty melts that were listed on their board for $9.99. But when the total came out, it was 10.99 per. When asked if she could adjust it, she said she couldn’t and that only her boss could. It’s strange that Teresa, Amy’s sister-in-law, hadn’t given others the ability to adjust prices. That being said, it was disappointing.
The food WAS delicious. And we’d love to go back, but I’d ask Teresa to be able to allow their servers to adjust prices, since it was written incorrectly on the board and we wouldn’t have ordered it otherwise.

I am deeply concerned that an employee of Griddles Grub and Pub is married to Jimmy Linville, who works for Builders By Design and recently posted a racially insensitive and dismissive comment about Juneteenth on social media. This kind of association raises serious questions about the company’s values and commitment to inclusivity.
If your business truly supports respect and diversity, it’s important to consider how the personal associations of your employees reflect on your culture and reputation. I urge Griddles Grub and Pub to take a clear stance against intolerance and ensure a workplace free of racism and disrespect.

Unfortunately it was less than expected. We've been here before and it was great but this time the food was very bland - no real flavor, cheese on my burger wasn't melted. Everything about it, service, food and atmosphere felt like they were just going through the motions; just kinds stale if that makes sense. Even the other tables, nobody was really talking or laughing.
