We love Harper’s! The food is plentiful and the service is excellent, even when extremely busy! As many others, we go for the catfish. Our choice is the child’s catfish plate and we leave stuffed for under $13 (including drink). The adult is all you can eat catfish for just a few bucks more! Can’t beat it. The food is amazing!
Parking: Large parking area, which is handy when they are super busy!

Food was excellent. Catfish was fire. All you can eat for $12 per person. Cash or check only. The one fault for me is when you first walk in there's a smoking section. Non smoking section in the back. Self seating. I don't eat cole slaw but my friend said I was good. The restaurant sits off the road and down a steep gravel hill.

I did not go inside, my son in law did and he said the fish was phenomenal. The only thing I did not like was the gravel exit at the top of the road. If you drive a truck, you'll probably be ok, but I was in a Prius and I struggled. The pot holes are no joke. You can really mess up your car's underside. It was also jammed packed with people. I guess that shows how good the food is.

You always hear stories about hole-in-the-wall eateries with excellent food but in reality such places are few and far between. Harper's, however, is one of those places. It's a simple building with a gravel parking lot, but the lot is usually packed with cars, which tells you something right away. They have all-you-can-eat catfish, but the very first plate they bring you is so piled high with food it's already more than most folks can eat. ...And it's soooo good: strips of fish about 4 inches long, an inch wide and a half inch thick, lightly breaded and lightly deep-fried so they're tender and delicious (see photo). They have ketchup, hot sauce, and tarter sauce on the table but you don't really need them. The plate comes with 3 or 4 hush puppies (I can't remember how many 'cause I ate 'em all right away), fries or a baked potato, and coleslaw or cottage cheese. My tater was huge and baked just right, My Lady's fries were just right, too, and the coleslaw was a star of the show in its own right. KFC's is the standard by which I judge all coleslaw, but Harper's has 'em beat, with a similar flavor but fresh and crispy, not soggily creamy like the Colonel's. I'm known as a big eater, but though I cleaned my plate I was done with just the one. It was all I could do to wash it down with 2 big glasses of sweet tea and then waddle out to the car. The server took great care of us, and the price, oh my! It warmed this $$ guy's heart, it was so low. Best catfish dinner anywhere! ?
Vegetarian options: I guess you could just eat coleslaw...?

Definitely order the catfish- their specialty. They have smoking and non smoking, which I haven't seen in ages. Nothing fancy... kind of a hole in the wall but if you don't mind that, it's certainly worth the drive there for the fish!
