I was hesitant to go eat here. Small restaurant that only opens a couple of days a week. We got seated right away. It is small on the inside as well. The waitress got our drink order right away, and she never let any drink go empty. We ordered some egg rolls for the appetizer, and they were great!! Then we ordered the Pad thai, mine had shrimp, and my wife's were plain. I also got a 2 spice level. Now I can't wait until they are open again. I would have gone back the next day, but they were not open. I hope they extend their open days in the future. It definitely is one of my favorite restaurants now.

We went here to have our CNY dinner. It's a kinda nice place except for the somewhat tacky (imho) tivoli lights in the front window. Two big screen TVs for the sports fans. About 40 seats + a few at the bar.Service was very good. Waitress accommodating and helpful. Limited main courses, only 6 but that was not a problem for us.We both ordered Bun Thit, mine pork & Joey tofu. We both enjoyed our meal, quite tasty but felt the price was too high, $17.00 & $16.00 for a small bowl of noodles, bean sprouts, lettuce, carrots and our respective protein is a little pricey. While we enjoyed it we doubt that we'll return because of the price value relationship.

Vegetarian options: 2-3 dishes offer tofu for the protein.

Parking: Street parking + ample parking lot on the west side

Highly recommended! My son and I tried this new spot out last week and had a great dinner and great dining experience.Pro's - nicely decorated spot in the modern style - cozy and comfortable - they offer a stylish bar and also porch seating area in additional to standard tables.Fresh food! Obviously NOT a spot that sources food from Cisco or other standard restaurant warehousing - everything was fresh and obviously prepared in house. Loved the fresh veggies and herbs used in the preparations.Service - prompt, friendly and professional/efficient.Flavor - my son and I had visited SE Asia a few years back and all the food at 7021 compared very favorably - exotic and exciting dishes not available elsewhere in Shelby Co. - They adjust the spice level individually and expertly to your request.I had the Pho - which makes for a very filling and hearty "warm you up from the inside" supper or lunch - oof - I was nicely full and happy after my bowl. My son had the Bun Thit (and even pronounced it correctly) which is kind of a cool salad with noodles and meat - and he devoured it.We did not have room for dessert.Cons - kind of a small menu - but I would rather have small menu done well as opposed to a catalog size tome to sift through like at certain Factories that serve Cheesecake desserts. At about $30 a person - including appetizer, drinks and tip - this is not "Cheap Eats" - but that's OK - few places are any longer - and I don't mind to pay for good fresh food and nice service in a comfortable setting. If you have a sense of culinary adventure and don't need Mexican AGAIN.. given 7021 a try - I am sure you will enjoy it!!

It was my family's first time coming here and we loved it, the PHO soup with beef and meatballs was amazing and delicious. My husband had the 7021 grill with chicken and he loved it. We will be back again soon. I can't remember our servers name she was wonderful with helping with our order and being so sweet the whole time, while our 6month cried the whole time. Loved it here

Friendly, FRESH and authentic Vietnamese food in Simpsonville! You can pick your spice level on most dishes which is a nice option.

The atmosphere is so inviting. Staff are very attentive to their customers. The food is amazing. I have tried several of their dishes and one is just as amazing as the next. This evening I tried their Basil Combo on white rice with an egg roll. It was absolutely delicious. It had pieces of. Chicken and whole shrimps in basil and sauce. At the end of the meal I had the. Vietnamese Coffee and carrot cake. So…so…good. If you haven’t had the coffee, try it. I highly recommend the restaurant.

My husband and I were having a date night and wanted to try somewhere new. We live in Louisville and were told about Cafe 7021 by a friend. This restaurant DID NOT disappoint!! The menu is intentionally kept small and delicious! We had the Spring Rolls with Shrimp and Bun Thit Nuong (one chicken & one very spicy beef). Both of us had tea and my husband tried the Saigon Export beer. The total was around $53, which we thought was a fair price for everything. The server was new, but great! The atmosphere was laid back and comfortable. We were greeted by both the owner and his mom, both of whom were incredibly kind. We will definitely go back & I highly recommend that you try it out. If you like Vietnamese food, it's worth a small trek outside of Louisville!!

Went one evening with a group of 6 and we stayed till closing. Drinks, appetizers, entrées were all delicious. Wings are great and their chicken Pad Thai was exceptional. They now do carry-out which is very nice. Hope they are here for many years.

Excellent food. One of the best meals I've had. I got the Pad Thai with Chicken and level 1 spice. Also a Thai Iced Tea. I personally liked the food with a little soy sauce added. Plates are beautiful. Thai Iced Tea was one of the better that I have had. Atmosphere is great. The outside and inside are adorable. The staff is amazing. I will definitely be coming back as often as possible.

Love love love! Sweet atmosphere. Quick, friendly service. Delicious food. Small menu, but it should be that way! It highlights the cuisine and it’s wonderful. We got the imperial egg rolls and vermicelli bowls. The owner, Kevin, came out and checked on us as well - you can really tell he cares about his business. A go-to in Simpsonville!
