Great American Cookies

Thank you all so much! I recently placed an order for my daughter’s 21st birthday. I came in asking if an anime design was possible, and my expectations were exceeded!!! My daughter absolutely loved her cake and the amazing design on it. Thank you for making her birthday so special.

i’ve tried to go there on multiple occasions and their closed. no sign on the door, just standing there staring at me in the dark. 4:40 is an odd time to be closed.

This is one of the worst store I’ve worked in , the managing there is done poorly !!!

The cookies were fresh and the service was exceptional.

The New girl that runs the store is awesome very nice and helpful.

Alex and her staff were outstanding. Due to bad weather, store was closing early but they let me in and took care of everything I needed. Much appreciated for you kindness and help!

One of the worst experience ever! Never going to that place again, I feel bad by the owner bc the employees don’t make a good environment.

Closed early again. They are advertised to be open until 8pm on Wednesday. Took my business elsewhere.

No wonder why there are so many negative reviews. The sign has been on the door for almost 20 minutes and as we walked by and pulled on the door, the two female workers were assisting two customers inside and just stared at us. Once the two customers left then I guess the “clock” started and the 5 minutes begun which has now been almost 25. The picture I took was from right outside at a table and now I have counted 12 different people come to try and get in. If the owner is ever concerned with low profits, ask the workers. This blatant laziness is unacceptable and again, I can see why this place has more recent negative reviews. A shop that specializes in the customer getting their own yogurt but the workers putting cookies in a bag and ringing people up shouldn’t have less then 5 stars. Yes, there are good reviews about the “cookies” themselves but all the negative ones are mostly about the staff. We took our business to Ghiradelli as did most people that went here.

Don’t usually feel compelled to leave a bad review, but I thought maybe the owner would like to hear my (and many others) experience today. I understand the workers are young, and probably don’t care much about their job…but to me this just seemed very lazy and ridiculous.Why have both employees take their break at the exact same time, when they were busy? The logical thing to do, would be to have one employee take their break, while the other one continued to work and take care of the several employees that they saw trying to come in.It’d be a different story if it was completely dead, & they put the “be back in 5 minutes” (aka 30 minute) sign up…but for them to see multiple customers try to come in, you’d think at some point, one of them would take care of the people trying to give money to their place of employment. This would be understandable had there only been one person working. Then I’d understand them needing to do something or take a break…but to see both workers just staring at multiple people trying to come in, is goofy…..and then to go on and be gone way longer than “5 minutes” after seeing people try to come in and then also see that there were people waiting outside. Just very poor customer service. In the 30 minutes they were gone, at least 10 different groups tried to enter. Many people were waiting and most of us ended up taking our business elsewhere. They turned away a lot of money. Again, had this been during a slow time where no customers tried to enter- there would be no issue. The issue is staring down multiple people trying to come in, seeing us waiting outside….and then BOTH of them still went on their way and took wayyyy longer than the stated 5 minutes. All the while knowing people were trying to get it and outside waiting for them to return. Pitiful!!!!!!!

Wouldn’t recommend working here. You might not get paid.

Pretty nice place to get cookies if I do say so myself, removed a star because of a rude cashier on my 6th out of my 29th experience.
