The old stone inn was great. Tried to go there July 25, 2020 and it looks like it is closed indefinitely. Fix your Google maps listing that says you are open if that is not the case.

Really nice, historical setting for a romantic dinner. We went on Valentine’s Day and the food was fine, but nothing really noteworthy. We were seated upstairs which is unique to Valentines Day, as I understand. It was a bit drafty you there. Great “off the beaten path” sort of evening, but the food could be better.

So sad they have ceased operations, we loved it, food was great, service was great just wasn’t supported by the community I guess.

My sister-in-law signed her bill $140.00, her bank showed two transactions; her signed receipt in addition to a charge of $40.00. WE have called wanting an explanation of this $40.00 charge, to no avail. Still calling and will have to make a personal appearance! Food was good, but dishonest customer service is never acceptable!

I'm not one to usually write reviews, but bad experience from the minute we walked into the door, to the minute we left. 7:30 Reservation, seated at 8:30, after being forgotten about while waiting at the bar. Even though I had returned to the front desk at 8:00, to see how much longer the wait would be. Offered free drinks, and then putting them on the check (rather than ask to have them removed, just paid for them). Room extremely cold, food cold 5 minutes after arriving to the table. Wanted to support a local business, but have no intention of returning.

Worst Valentines dinner I’ve ever had. The service and food was disappointing especially for what you are charged.

Great find, very tasty items; pork rinds were delicious, mushroom raviolis were delicious, braised short ribs were perfect! Staff is on point, Tara took care of us and was a 10/10! Old fashioned drinks were made perfectly. The environment and atmosphere is very cozy, bourbon, Kentucky! We will definitely be back!

Today we drove to The Old Stone Inn for the Sunday Brunch. We have driven past it several times over the years and we decided to give it a try. It was awesome. The fried chicken, biscuits and gravy, sausage. But the best was the homemade cinnamon rolls. The service was excellent and we enjoyed the conversation. We live in Frankfort, KY and it was worth the 45 minutes drive.

Never knew gnocchi & Brussels sprouts could be so yummy. Rye whiskies were great. Chocolate coffee ice cream made in house was a treat!!
