Coming through here on a weekend, and they're closed (not the first time), but I've stopped here before, so I thought I'd drop a review, while I was thinking about it...The place is pretty neat. Their food is above average. The prices seem a little higher than some small places, but are really about average, overall.The friendliness and atmosphere are really way over the top, though, and it's very much worth the stop.The only reason they're not getting 5 stars, is because they're closed today, and I was disappointed (again).But 8f they're open when you're passing through, you should definitely stop.

Lunch for two was almost $32. I ordered cod, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and a biscuit. My husband ordered cod and popcorn shrimp with coleslaw, salad, and white bread. The cod isn't a nice full filet. It's a frozen square they fried, just like the filet at McDonald's. Honestly, you would be better off eating at a hospital or saving the money to make a meal at home. The only thing decent was the sweet tea.

Traveling back from mammoth caves and came across this amazing place. The burgers and Mac and cheese was very tasty and our waitress was also the nicest lady.

My sister, brother-in-law, and I stopped for breakfast on our way home to Mississippi after visiting the Ark Encounter. Breakfast was excellent and the employees and other diners were so warm and welcoming! Highly recommend!

Welcoming waitresses, they were very accommodating for us and our 10 month old. We felt right at home even though we were just passing through. Also, surprising variety of vegetarian options, including creamy and delicious great northern beans. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
