My wife and I went to Mordecai's yesterday. We go often and have the buffet. The last several times we have eaten there, the catfish was over cooked. Waited forever for them to put more on the bar. When it arrived 15 minutes later, over cooked again. Someone please show them how to cook catfish. Other sides, we had to wait for them to refresh the bar was well. The worst. Will not be back.

Great place. Shame is closing forever tomorrow. Been open 25 years and closing the day after we found it to be turned into a Mexican steakhouse. Which we have about a hundred of in the area. What a shame.

Absolutely the best catfish anywhere. The greenbeans are perfectly seasoned. Mashed potatoes & gravy totally excellent. Meatloaf was amazing. Fried chicken chrispy & juicy. Corn pudding incredible taste. Service very professional and so friendly. A great eating experience ? Daniel from Lexington

I love the atmosphere of this place. It’s very nice and clean. Service wasn’t great this night we went and the food was a good but the seafood buffet was underwhelming and too expensive. Overall a good experience.

We just happened off the highway to stop at this restaurant. It was wonderful! We had the lunch buffet…corn, green beans, green limas, pork chops, dessert, salad, ham and sandwiches. It was so amazing!

Man, oh man, I wish I had taken pictures! What a unique find! I have been dreaming of the endless shrimp every day since. A friend and I came across this place and decided to have lunch. I'm so glad that I did! We both ordered the buffet, and we're really surprised. The offerings from chicken to shrimp and greenbeans were delicious! The service was top notch, too.

Reuben sandwich was excellent. Buffet bar was dismal. Frozen fried food and 45 dollars a person!! Did not get that. Condiments in little packets - weird.
