What a delightful breakfast! The Bluebird Bennie (or Benedict) was absolutely delicious as was the latte. It was quite unique with the fried green tomato base with the ham and egg on top and the delicious smoked Gouda cheese sauce. The latte was one of my first “real” lattes at a Kentucky cafe. Wonderful!!

A small-town diner with a big heart and home-cooked flavor. I had the fried catfish with hushpuppies — golden, crispy, and perfect with a glass of sweet tea. The locals chat across tables, the servers know everyone by name, and it feels like a slice of true Kentucky hospitality.

I have never loved a cute little hometown restaurant more. It’s a simple menu with a flair. All fresh, farm to table, homemade deliciousness wrapped up in a cute environment. The FGTBLT was what caught my eye. Absolutely delicious. Did not skimp on the bacon. Husband got a special turkey sandwich with garlic aioli. We both had homemade chips. I’d come back just for the chips. I also had a fall latte-caramel pumpkin I believe. Very good, but not something I’d order again. I will go back next time I visit and try something new. This is not your typical sandwich shop. The extra nuances are with coming for!!

Exceptional food, everyone in our party had something different and it was all excellent.
They were a little understaffed, other than that all good.

I don't know when I'll be driving through Stanford again, but when I do I am planning my drive around stopping at Bluebird! This is not just a great small town restaurant, it's a great restaurant no matter where it is.
Well worth your stop!

Overall a great experience. The restaurant was very busy with lunch rush, I was rated quickly, my server, Autumn, was friendly and let me try a couple sauces before I ordered- she brought a couple chips and fries so I could see how good those were too. The chips and fries are absolutely amazing btw! 10/10 on customer service

I ordered the dynamite wrap and Gouda Mac. I should have asked to have the option to do blackened chicken instead of fried because I’m not a huge fan of fried food but it was great. The dynamite sauce was very balanced. The Gouda Mac utilized bow tie pasta and a rich Gouda sauce, I do have a sneaking suspicion it was microwaved to reheat it, but can’t confirm. 9/10 for the food

A suggestion for future menu adoption- would love to see a vegetarian burger option on the menu if possible. But I understand Stanford might not have the demand for it, but could be worth a try!

Will be back soon to try more menu items! Thanks for a great lunch

We say this is the best breakfast we have ever had! Peyton, our server, was exceptional always ready to refill our coffee, friendly, and polite. Breakfast was ordered and it appeared in a proper time, fresh, warm and ready to eat. And WOW, was it delicious, fresh made breakfast, quesadilla and breakfast burrito, along with fresh cut fruit (strawberries, apples, pears). If live within 100 miles of Stanford, Ky you should consider the drive, yet there before closing at 3pm.

Bow Tie Asparagus Pasta was good. The chips and dip were even better.
