My husband and I loved this place! It's pinnacle southern cooking and hospitality. Everything was fresh and delicious. We had breakfast and picked up oreo pie! Everything was so filling and lovely! If we ever go back to Red River Gorge, we'll definitely go there again.

Bruins is my go-to breakfast when I camp overnight at the Gorge. It's always the best service and the portions are always huge. You're guaranteed to run into some friendly locals and leave with a full belly and a smile on your face. And it's less than 15 minutes down the road from Slade. The service is phenomenal and as I understand it it's been around as a staple in the community for a long time. I will continue to go here for as long as I venture to the Gorge.

Parking: This restaurant is very popular in the area. So the park is often limited. But food is worth the wait.

So so so so good!! Everything was absolutely spectacular. Got chuck wagon with Mac and cheese and corn and a salad wife got the pork with green beans, corn and Cole slaw. Each meal was only $11!!! Taste was absolutely incredible and you can not beat that price anywhere, especially for that much food. The staff was also so sweet. If you’re in the area please go and support, you’ll be amazed

If your in the area this is an amazing mom and pop restaurant. Had a Philly steak sandwich and homemade chocolate pie!! Food is fresh and cook amazing ! Will be finishing the week off with another dinner here! We are here hiking from columbus Indiana and I'm here to tell you we don't have home cooked meals in my area like this!
