My husband and I loved this place! It's pinnacle southern cooking and hospitality. Everything was fresh and delicious. We had breakfast and picked up oreo pie! Everything was so filling and lovely! If we ever go back to Red River Gorge, we'll definitely go there again.
Bruins is my go-to breakfast when I camp overnight at the Gorge. It's always the best service and the portions are always huge. You're guaranteed to run into some friendly locals and leave with a full belly and a smile on your face. And it's less than 15 minutes down the road from Slade. Older building. Owner has changed hand. We were worried that the quality of food would change. So far they have kept the same menu and quality.
