Saw they were rated best local restaurant in Southern Living magazine so wife and I drove about 1.5 hours and we weren’t disappointed. Food and service was excellent and place was very clean. Brought home some fried apple pies and piece of coconut cream pie which were great also. We will be back!

Excellent service, staff was stopping by to see if we needed anything. Food was great and well-priced

Food and service are wonderful! It's a cute country restaurant, but if there are a lot of people in the room talking, it's very hard to hear the people at your own table. And just be prepared to leave full! The fried apples and country ham are the best!

We love their family style meal, we live about an hour away but try and make the drive out there 1-2 times a year. So good!

Unassuming location with homecooked food. Great southern pinto beans and corn bread. Good mashed potatos. Big plates of food which are reasonably priced. Wonderful pies with stiff, beautiful meringue. A wonderful experience.

It's just OK. We were greeted by a man who appeared to be exhausted and overwhelmed. They did get us seated quickly despite being very busy. The food is basically what you would get at Cracker Barrel but more expensive. We paid $15 each for meals that would have been $11 and $12 at Cracker Barrel. No one ever offered refills on drinks or asked if we wanted to order desert. The restrooms are tiny and there was an extensive line for the ladies room. I wouldn't go back a second time, but they're packed most of the time so I don't think they'll miss us.
