Great place to get a burger! No frills but the staff was warm and welcoming. Got a Dr Pepper in a bottle!! Not something you see a lot of and it was nice just to sit and chat with everyone.

going into the place being from a town about 30 minutes away my hopes were high the burgers are unique and you won’t find any like it anywhere they fall apart as you eat them however the amount of grease was a culture shock even squeezed you could tell the burgers sucked up a ton of grease. heavy heavy on the stomach but unique in its own right not the best burger in kentucky but a close second to Lahas red castle.

Brought 2 friends who've never been to Dovie's, they were too busy eating to talk ( means the food was really good) the ladies were friendly & professional, the simple restaurant was a trip back in time and a welcome change from the generic chain restaurants...a hidden gem worth a try and obviously no secret to the many locals that frequent this place to dine in or take out every day they're open.

Never heard of Dovies burgers And decided to go try one… or two😇. These things deserve halos on them And they fell apart as you ate them. That’s not a complete. Those things were soft and delicious. Especially the buns 😉. Dovies is a very simple set up in a close knit town where they even have a pumpkin festival each year. The town takes you back in time a little. I’ll definitely go again but next time I’ll have to bring my Road King. Nice drive from where I drove in too. Thumbs up for me👍🏻
