Would give zero stars if it was optional. I’m all up for supporting local businesses. But not when the restaurant doesn’t show/return the same hospitality. It definitely lacks hospitality. Spoke to Francisco and explained that I had purchased a $40 gift certificate for someone for Christmas but still had the receipt & explained that I had accidentally tossed that gift certificate on the fire while burning Christmas boxes. I asked Francisco if there was anyway he could pull the transaction considering I still had the receipt of purchase in hand and ask if he could kindly write me out a new gift certificate. I also ask if I could bring the receipt in, get a $40 refund and purchase another gift certificate. The answer was No! He tells me he is unable to use this exact date/time printed on my receipt to review the transaction and proceeds to tell me that he needs the # on the gift certificate instead (that is now ashes and I have no way to recover). So, I proceeded to say, “So, you basically just made $40 from me because the gift certificate won’t ever be utilized.” His response: “Yes I did!”Yes, I get it….I made the mistake here by accidentally burning the gift certificate. But the fact that Francisco made zero effort to make it right and used poor management skills by basically saying to me “yes I did just make $40 off of you” shows me just what type of business this is!!! I would honestly hate to lose loyal customers over $40. Therefore, I will spread the word about my personal experience. Know that your management skills & experiences just like this one also cause your business to lose some of your most loyal customers!

I would not come her for your Mexican experience. I used to always come here but the Food has became bland and portion sizes have went way down, of course prices have went up over time as wells I got a to-go order that got messed up, drove 30 minutes to my house to realize it’s messed up, and they try to accuse my of lying about my order, and demand I bring my food back to the business, who’s gonna be closing by the time I get there, and told me if I didn’t bring the messed up order back, they weren’t gonna do anything about it. Tried accusing me of lying about my order being wrong?! Also adds a surcharge for to-go orders to help pay for their Togo containers? Wow. That’s not how a business or person should be running. I will go to a different Mexican restaurant or a different city before I EVER go back.

This was the worst service I have ever received, we got there at 6 pm and it was busy it was after a eight grade graduation but we waited for almost an hour to get drinks we asked the waitress she comes back and said we were out of glasses so we said can we use to go cups wow. We finally got drinks the we sat for another 45 minutes and people were coming in and eating and we still sitting there finally I ask where is our food she said I’ll check them she ignored us so I’m thinking she didn’t turn in our order she left it in her apron or something so the manager on duty came over and gave us some story that if a party came I. Of three they would go before our order that was unbelievable I will not be back after 2 hours we got our food and it was not good either it was cold Worse service I have ever received

I honestly give it a 2 star at this location and only because the place was nice and most of the food was ok but the service was horrible. They gave me a brown guacamole instead of green, it looked like if it was sitting there for a whole day. When I told the waitress about it she did gave me her honest opinion and said she wouldn’t eat that, while the manager/owner did not approach us to apologize at least and correct it, seemed like he didn’t care; the waitress only apologized and said there was nothing they could do. I did not get it fixed and left with that bad experience. I ordered the chicken quesadilla with rice and guacamole. Never again…

Normally it’s great, but lately in decline. I ordered steak tacos and a side of rice and beans and was incredibly irritated when I got home and saw each taco had maybe a spoonful of meat and my side of beans and rice wasn’t even a THIRD full. I had maybe 3 tablespoons of beans and a MASSIVE portion that didn’t have either rice or beans. La Tapatia every order from now on.
