A quaint location minutes from Florence and nestled between and behind growing neighborhoods. This place is very popular and reservations assure you will have the opportunity to be waited on.

Walked in, was not too busy, but stood at the door for at least 5 minutes before someone came and asked us if we had reservations. I said no I didn't know we needed them. He said we will take you, but it will be 10 or 20 minutes. Mind you, there were plenty of empty tables all over the restaurant. And the bar was completely empty. So we went at sat at the bar. We were the only ones at the bar. I had a glass of wine that was poured right away. My boyfriend just asked for water that took 5 minutes to get. Again, we were the only ones at the bar. We were seated about 15 minutes later. The same man at the door came to our table and asked us what we would like. He stated that he was trying to get the only waitress they had caught up. We gave him our order. I got the meatloaf, and he got a burger, not the one he wanted though but none the less, he got one !! they didn't have the one he wanted. About 20 minutes later, we got our food. Mine the meatloaf was absolutely gross !!! It's very mushy and had absolutely no flavor at all !! The Mash potatoes were cold and very lumpy, not to mention it was like 2 table spoons worth . The seasonal veggies were almost raw but warm . The burger seemed fine because he ate it all. The chips that were served with it were no salt chips, I believe, because they were awful and he did not eat them. If I'm being completely honest, the food reminds me of cafeteria food. Just no flavor in anything we ordered. Like I stated before, the meatloaf was just mushy and didn't taste like it had meat in it. I did not order the turkey meatloaf. I ordered the regular meatloaf just to be clear. It would seem they just didn't have the help they needed to run this place, and all 4 of the people working seemed very stressed out. This was our first time here and definitely our last !! I suppose we didn't realize the food is prepared for older folks. Like nursing home folks. It's just not the right fit for us. Not to mention, for a place that requires you to have a reservation, they should probably have the help they need to serve the customers better. We definitely felt attacked coming in the door because we didn't have a reservation, and it just kept going south from there. I do not recommend this place for anyone under the age of 65.

After waiting for 10 minutes without anyone even acknowledging us, my wife and I left. Apparently unless you are a local you are not welcome in this establishment. The sad part, we live 5 minutes away.

1st visit and didn't know if the reviews were true but they are. Definitely will need a big appetite if you visit. I ordered the Beast burger, and I wasn't able to finish it. Took the rest home and devoured it, and wanted more. Absolutely the best burger I've ever had! The lemon berry cake with marscapone is a must! Can't wait to go back! This place is a real jewel!

We have been here numerous times, the food is good. The manager is horrible and rude to you, the reason why will not go back. Thought maybe just a bad day and same attitude when we went back, they would prefer you not to be there.

While taking a motorcycle ride from Dayton and we stumbled upon this wonderful cafe. The food is great. Try the Bacon Burger! My favorite was the French Dip!
Super friendly and clean. Great music to enjoy your meal! A definite stop of your close by!

Food was excellent and great portions. Tess provided exceptional service. Beast burger, turkey, bacon and avocado wrap along with the Reuben were all worth it.....

OMGsh....
If I only lived near this restaurant, that would be awesome sauce!
Not only was my meal delish, everyone that I was with. We all loved each and every bite.
I ordered the Reuben Sandwich and I'd say..... definitely the best I've ever had.
They aren't shy on the portions either.
The wraps, my family said were absolutely the best.
Unfortunately., the potato salad was very dry, needed more taste.
My family loved the cherry slaw as a side dish.
I really can't say anything about the desserts, because we were so full. We literally couldn't eat anymore.
It did sound yummy though.
I highly recommend checking out this restaurant, believe me..... You can't go wrong.
It's dog friendly, they have two picnic tables out front for your fur children.
( Please... Watch them closely, the road this restaurant is on is a very high traffic area )
Our waitress was super sweet, and the bathroom was very clean.
I give this restaurant an A+
( Just a couple of things that might need some TLC....
There were spiderwebs under the benches and tables. Some lawn weeds that needs to be pulled, the picnic tables outside could use a good scrub down and maybe some cute centerpieces on the tables outside.)
Other than those minor things.,
Definitely check this place out!
