The foodstand market and Cafe is AMAZING! we have been here twice and will be returning customers for life! The first time we visited, they were closing early for a party. they could have turned us away, but instead still served us. My 5 year old son was on the wild side that day and employee Lester was absolutely amazing with him! I even accidently left my debt card there after checking out and Lester found me on facebook and sent me a message that i had left my debt card so i could pick it back up! I also bought a bag of their local wheat bread flour, that i am experimenting on trying to figure out a good recipe to use it for. (first time bread maker, so idk what i am doing) If i could change anything, it would be to add a recipe to the bread mix! I also think that they should look into selling fresh dried spices/herbs for seasoning! their food is absolutely amazing! so fresh and so nice knowing that its local meats/veggies. Highly recommend the grilled ham and swish. the peach jam on the sandwich is to die for! make sure you ask for extra jam for dipping! thank you lester for being amazing! you earn Ben as a buddy for life!Kid-friendliness: coloring sheets and they have pencil boxes of crayon for kids instead of give 1-2 crayons like other restaurants. The staff also interacts with the children and treats them to the Childs needs/personality.

We had a few good experiences here but the last time that I went, their special made me sick. Clearly microwaved veggies were soggy and scalding hot, cold meat with no flavor that was rubbery, and took forever. Haven’t been back since!

This was mine and my sibling's first time here, and everything about the place was amazing. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked; staff was friendly and attentive to allergy needs. Definitely the epitome of a "hidden gem" within my

We recently moved to the Union area and noticed the lack of farm to table options. So glad we found this gem of a place to eat and support local farmers. The owner is very passionate and it shows in her food. This will be a weekly go to now. The grass fed burger and red potato salad from scratch was incredible!!

Fresh food and speedy service. So happy we stopped here on our roadtrip rather than getting fast food.

Delicious made from scratch sandwiches and soups. Definitely not from a "chain" restaurant. Love the staff, especially Lester!

After attempting a few times, we finally caught this place open. There was only 1-2 other couples when we arrived. SLOW is the only thing I can say for the service. Every step of our experience was slow. We felt like a bother to the server the whole time. The potential is here, our food had good flavor but was COLD. How do you take so long and still bring out cold food? We just haven’t gone back due to those factors. We discussed trying again, even as recently as this weekend. So I hopped on the Facebook page to see the hours and was horrified by a post made by the owner regarding a neighboring business. Thier responses to an owner of one neighboring business were questionable and they were simply dismissive of customers indicating concern for the behavior. It may seem silly, but we decided to not try again based on this exchange. Now the initial post and any negative comments on other posts have been removed. An honest person would either 1) leave it up and deal with the consequences or 2) put up another post apologizing to the customers and the businesses they attacked for the lapse in judgement. I do hope they change tactics and work toward better service regardless of my intent to return.

Decent place. Not the best but their parking for Union 42 bourbon and brew is the best. I actually prefer parking in their lot based on the quality of the pavement. The market generally never has enough business to support such a large lot but union 42 is hands down the best place to visit and the markets overflow parking is great.
