By far, the best bourbon bar in NKy. Was just rated top 20 bourbon bars in America! Great selection and best prices around. You actually get a 2oz pour rather than 1.5oz. Great atmosphere that is both welcoming and relaxing. Patrons seem to be more like family than friends at Union 42. The owner, Larry, is a great conversationalist and an all-around good guy who makes one hell of an old fashioned. It's his favorite drink to make. I urge anyone to stop in and try one or three...

Love the place and since I'm new to bourbon, the bartender took the time to help me with how I should go about tasting and selecting a bourbon... can't recommend it enough!

First time visiting this place, great potential if they work on types of seating and lighting. Cozy it up a bit, add some couches and cushioned chairs, dim lighting. Bartender makes a good Old Fashion
