Called to place an order for a delivery, was put on hold for 7.5 mins. On hold you could hear them while they were talking about who forgot to put a lid on a container. I hung up and proceeded to talk redial for the next 5 minutes when a young man answered and was so disrespectful saying they were busy, when I heard the workers talking and laughing. They forgot someone was on the phone. And asked me well what do u want , ummm food . Where he replies what food.... oh my does he even know he is working at a restaurant? lord help us with this new generation.........

Headed home on the AA & finally had an opportunity to stop. Ordered a footer & some corn nuggets. Both were very good. They’re not stingy with the sauce or slaw so I ended up eating my hot dog before I left. Corn nuggets were perfect on the road. Staff was polite & food came out quicker than expected. I was the only customer @ about 4pm @ I’m not sure how. I’ll be back, for sure.

While passing through Vanceburg, I was unsure what to expect. It's a cute town, but there's not much there. That's okay though, because you only really need Chiggers.The day we got in they were closed, which was a bummer as I hoped to stop in for ice cream. On the way out of town the next afternoon we decided to go and check them out and I'm happy I did.The place is cute, bright, and welcoming. It's positioned just outside of downtown, and offers plenty of parking. Even though they just opened, locals started to filter in. You can tell it's a gem, a treasure, and I hope it never stops shining.I bought a cheeseburger and fries, chuffed by the southern charm, can you tell I'm not from Kentucky? I was delighted at being called "hon" with every sentence. The woman who took my order was nice, the perfect amount of friendly, and not over excited or off-putting. I ordered a Chigger burger with everything and a side of fries.I expected to get a small, limp burger, and about 13 fries. I was wrong.I was so very wrong.The bag I was handed must've weighed a pound, and I can lift probably twice my weight, so I'm not really over exaggerating here.I took one bite and wished I had bought 15 more to go.It was THE BEST burger I've had in years. It was delicious. It's the style of a Big Mac but without the downsides of a Big Mac. It's beefy, the condiments are perfect, they add the perfect amounts. Too often I'm handed a burger with enough mayo to feed a country.. but that wasn't the case here. Everything, and I do mean everything was perfect.The fries were standard, but still delicious, and you get your money's worth.I hope to return again on the way home, this time to buy a few more burgers.If you live in the states, drive to Chiggers, go to Vanceburg, experience this crumbling mecca of Americana while you still can. The locals walk by and say hi, cradling their little town in the mountains. The dogs run free, and nobody runs them over.If you want to go home, but don't know where it is, try to spend some time there and get a glance of what it likely was.And then stop at Chiggers.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendlyParking: Lots of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: It's highly accessible.

My family and I use to travel from Ga to Vanceburg every year for deer season. The absolute best part was always getting to eat at Chiggers!!! We absolutely love their monster burgers and everything else they have on the menu as well. I miss Chiggers and it’s wonderful staff so much these days. When I worked in Louisville I use to travel to Vanceburg nearly every weekend to hunt or ride my four wheelers and play in the creek. I ate so many Monster burgers and loaded baked potatoes that everytime I walked in they already knew what I was going to order!!!! I plan on getting back up to Lewis County to visit the great friends I made and I CAN NOT WAIT TO GET ANOTHER MONSTER BURGER!!!!!

Drove out of our way to come here for the first time. They are supposed to be open till 6p. People where inside with the open sign still on saying open but employees would not come to window and door was locked. It was 5:30p. Extremely disappointed children and adults. Another car came in they would not serve them either.

Drove 45 mins out of the way to come here for 1st time. Showed up at 5:28pm. All signs said open. Close @ 6 pm. .Doors were locked. No one would answer phone or door. While the workers stood inside . Rude and very unprofessional. Will never recommended this place to anyone.
