Verona Angilo's Pizza

We were traveling and getting late. We found this place off the main road. It was excellent! The wings and cheese bread were really good. Oh, and You have to try the cheese cake!

Well here we go. As a kid My Dad and I would come to Mr.Herbs often for the fish. We we're so upset when they closed. We really didn't even know till we drove over and it was rebranded. Now let's fast forward many many my years. I been driving past this place for months for work and today I finally gave in. I thought there is absolutely no way the fish is even close. Being Herbs was one of a kind. Now here is where I admit to being wrong. Walking in I immediately stepped back 20+ years if not even more. What I discovered is the fish is spot on what it was when it was Mr Herbs. I was amazed! Not only was it amazing it brought back many great memories of coming here with Dad. Even though he's now gone this stop brought a little piece of him back to me. Thank you Angelo's. Till next time.

Angilos is amazing food but they are NOT OPEN TUESDAYS. Says online it is but it isn't that's why I left a 3 star. I drove from hwbron to get my angilos fix and BAM closes

The food here was absolutely fantastic. Based on food alone I would be willing to come back. But our service was absolutely dreadful. Only 1 person was the server that night, in an entirely packed house on a Saturday night. It took us nearly 20 to 25 minutes. Just to place our order and that's with 2 kids under the age of 5. The waitress was not willing to come back and check on us as much as she was everybody else. The waitress Kiki was purposely skipping us. It was an obnoxiously loud place for such a small venue. I would highly recommend rebuilding to a new location with a bigger venue.

staff was wonderful greeted when walking in definitely proud of their job.
Fries were perfectly cooked crunchy outside with a soft warm inside.
crunchy fish tacos were fluffy yet crunchy the in house made sauce has a little kick to it but paid with the fish well.
Ham and cheese hoagie had a wonderful garlic butter crust leaving the bread still fluffy and light. Very juicy cut up ham with the pickles too compliment it will.
Garlic butter wings are a tad on the small side but pack a powerful flavor. The meat is tender and very moist adding too the crunch factor of the skin. would ask for a side of extra sauce to go with them.
cheesy garlic bread is a little on the softer side world definitely all too have it in a little longer for my preference. The sauce is very unique not overpowering tomato taste the flavors are all working together.
Chicken bacon ranch pizza has a light and fluffy crust with a generous amount of toppings. Their choice of ranch was fantastic choice or does not overtake all the other flavors. To note adding a little parmesan adds to all the developing flavors.
Donut holes heavily coated in cinnamon goodness with a soft textured inside. The powdered counterpart has a crunchy outside tastes just like a county fair.

Overall a solid 8.4/10

It was my first time eating here and it was delicious. We had the fish dinner, huge portions, and everything came out hot and tasted so good. We will definitely be back again. They had desserts also but we both were to full to try any of them.

We just moved to the community and our first time ordering from Verona Angelos. They could tell where our first time caller. They’re so very nice. Their food was really really good. Their service was beyond. We got delivery. And even through that delivery experiencethey were over the top and very very very nice. They are 100% awesome. And I just wanted to extend my gratitude and acknowledgment. Because that’s pretty rare.

I absolutely love the fish it is definitely the best ever the owners are extra special friendly and always make sure you are pleased with food and service server’s there are also friendly I just love this little restaurant the food the people the quality all over is fantastic what more could you want it’s definitely a MUST TRY Guarantee You won’t be sorry

Honestly the food was not great. Good looking place, service was phenomenal. But I have a hard time believing they are actually cooking the food back there. My pizza tasted like a pre made frozen crust with canned sauce. The cheese and toppings seemed fresh. My wife's chicken sandwich was a Tyson frozen chicken strip. If you're near there and need a bite, the food wasn't awful. But it wasn't great. Price was reasonable though. The wings though were delicious.
