On June 7th we went to have dinner, waited in the patio for about 5 mins several servers walked by, not 1 acknowledged we were there. So we went inside thinking we might get waited on, sat in the dining room by the windows on the river side for over 10 mins, got tired of waiting with no one acknowledging we there
We decided to leave. As we were walking out the door one of the servers from boondocks asked if we were leaving we told her no one would wait on us!

My family was there on Sunday Sept 30th with a party of 12 for breakfast. Both the food and the service were fantastic! Some of us had the breakfast buffet and others ordered off the menu. Big Thank You to the staff who took care of us!

We boated in, got a carry out to take out & eat on the river ( our son is in a wheelchair & we can’t get him up the hill from the dock), so dine in is not an option.
Was told Bologna was not available because it was frozen, so fried bologna was out along with the pulled pork BBQ because that was sold out. SO picked a couple less appealing alternatives that ONLY came with fries! Waitress said forks, napkins, ketchup were in the bag. We go out and find a pretty spot on the river to watch the sunset - open bag … no napkins, no forks or ketchup and the BLT didn’t even have mayo on it ? very dry & disappointing! Was not worth $50 bucks and waitress certainly didn’t deserve the tip!

We were there 09/21/2024 the food and service was great our waitress was attentive but not pushy. Love the food and atmosphere there. I have never had bad food food or service there over the years while visiting boating on the river.

Don't waste your money on the Alfredo or popcorn shrimp. Alfredo is so small you can eat it in 4 bites. My shrimp was over cooked to almost burnt. But the pretzels are good. Hometown gives more on Alfredo and almost half the price and tastes better. Sunsets fish is good with a good price. Chicken wings are ok,but dry.

The waitresses walked by our table multiple times and never stopped to ask us what drinks we wanted. I watched the table behind us walk in about 10 minutes after us and get greeted and their drink order taken. We left without being served or greeted.

Order Ribeye medium rare, loaded bake potato and salad. The Ribeye had red pepper on it. It's too hot to eat. Salad was tough.
