Pretty good store and little cafe out in Westport. It's really the only reason to go out to Westport unless you're putting your boat in the Ohio. The store side offers a lot of kitschy things that relate to people who live in Kentucky. The cafe is small too, but has a pretty decent menu. We went for lunch and got the spicy stuffed pimento, fried bologna, and a coup of cheesy potato soup. The pimento was interesting-it came with jalapeños, strawberry jam, and bacon. Reading about it it doesn't sound good but want to try it actually turned out really, really good. The fried bologna was nothing to write home about, but it wasn't bad. The sizes weren't thick enough and it wasn't fried enough to my liking. Doesn't mean I didn't eat every bite though. The soup was good, too. The hash brown casserole was (for me) ok. I get why others on here rave about it, but it tasted exactly like the soup we got. Key lime pie was... well, I wish we had gotten a piece of something else. They have a lot of different offerings and I think it change change daily. Since this place is out there on its own I think the sort of price gouge. Sandwhich and a side was 16. For bologna? Yikes. If you happen to be in the Westport area, go check it out, just be prepared to be setback for about $40 for lunch.

We both enjoy eating at Knock on Wood. Granted it's out in the middle of nowhere but we try going there after a visit to Yew Dell Gardens. It's a cute little place with good lunch/sandwiches and friendly service. We both got the quiche with a side plus shared a piece of their sinful peanut butter pie. Nobody makes a better peanut butter pie in our opinion. I also had a cup of coffee to wash it down. Like everything else these days the prices have gone up. By the time you added a 20% tip the bill came to over $47. It's a bit of a guilty pleasure now.

Amazing food and drinks and everyone's friendly. It's worth the drive in the country to get this food.

This place is close to La Grange,KY so if you r there please proceed to this place in Westport. The restaurant is casual country friendly and the food is really good. Included is a charming shop. Delightfully representative of small town America flavor.

This place is off the beaten track but was worth the drive. My sister wanted to treat me to lunch as a thank you for driving during a past weekend overnight outing so I said let’s go here. It’s a combination of mercantile store with seasonal crafts and cafe. The cafe serves soup, sandwiches and desserts. We both ordered the quiche with a side. Both good. Then we split a piece of their silky smooth peanut butter pie that was the best I have ever had. Service was quick and friendly. If you are in the pod for a pleasant drive then this cafe fits the bill.

From the outside this restaurant doesn’t look like much. After we entered I was pleasantly surprised. The small craft shop booths were well placed to display local arts and crafts from local artists. The prices were reasonable as well.

happened upon this place by accident and decided to stop.It is very cute outside and in and clean. However we went straight to the counter to place our order. The young girl asked what we wanted and then stared off into space and asked again after i told her.Duh!!!Then she repeated it back wrong and I told her again. We told her we would eat inside and showed her the booth. We were told to get our soft drinks self serve from a refrigerated case.We did and took a seat and then waited 30 minutes and watched others get their food. Finally another worker approached us and asked what we ordered. She had to be told 3 times before she got it right. We were told they did not get the order so we waited another 30 minutes. The food finally arrived and no ketchup even though we requested it up front.I got the turkey club and hash brown casserol which were delicious. We also got the chili dog which wasnt fit to eat.We were never approached after our food came so we paid the $24 and left. There were also dogs inside so if you want pet dander in your food and no service this is your place.
