I sure do miss the short grey haired lady manager. Things seemed to have been a lot smoother when she worked there. It's still an ok place to eat. Prices are getting higher tho.

We stop at the restaurant on Nov 23 2025 to take some supper home. There was a guy outside smoking when he came back into the restaurant he Never washed his hand. I watched to see if he touched my food if he had I was not going to take it.

Stopped in while on road trip Definitely not like the Long John's back home. No one ever offered to take my order or even acknowledged me or my sister so while she was in restroom I stood there listening to the cook and cashier talk about whom I expect is the manager, saying negative things. There was also a collection container set up in dining room for whom I believe was the manager in question as they had the same name. They'll accept your money for this undeserving sick manager but won't let you give them cash for food lol. On way to bathroom there was a small area to the right with multiple dirty mops in it and it smelled horrible. May have been a good thing not to have eaten there.

Girl in pink shirt with long brown hair had a nasty attitude. Then walked back in said something to the short girl & she came out & said I can sit down it'll be a while ( my meal was to go) Put my change on the counter and slammed my number down and walked away... Lol... I have no clue why! I'm always polite and say please & thank you after ordering so I have no clue what her issue was!?

The food was overcooked. Tasted like old grease. Hushpuppies were not entitled, they where fried to hard crisp .
We had a pleasant experience here. Placed an order that most places would expect a call ahead of time and they had it ready in less than 10 minutes. Food was nice and hot and not cold at all. Great experience and if I'm ever in that area again I'll definitely be returning.

Food was great for the first time ever eating here the whole family was happy with it the staff was great and very respectful and after trying to eat at the huddle house and them trying to kill my mother this was a big step up thank you to the staff for being so kind and delivering a great service. They were really busy but still got the food out in a very timely manner, I would highly recommend.
