I stopped by yesterday while visiting Kentucky. Honestly was just very disappointing. Where I’m from, Mexican is expensive but not 15.99 for Nachos expensive. (I could spend that much at a good hibachi place.)
Especially when veggies aren’t cooked all the way, the tomatoes were VERY squishy and tasted rotten. I’m pretty sure they were bad, but they threw them in there anyway. There wasn’t even a lot of queso on everyone’s food. Only shredded cheese was thrown on the rice and beens, barely melted.
One of the biggest issues I had was that the servers were GLUED to their phones. They stood around with their head stuck in them the whole time. After getting our food, no one ever came back to check on us even once. So no refills and no help.
It really wasn’t that fancy either to be so expensive. In the end for 5 people we spent $93. If you’re gonna charge that much, at least have decent food. Or get out of your phone and check on your customers. Plus the restaurant itself isn’t all that fancy.
The salsa bowls are also small but that’s the least of my worries lol🤣it was just super frustrating knowing my bill was gonna be at least $100 as soon as I saw the prices, and having such poor customer service!
I just want what I paid for, my 100 dollars worth, and I definitely didn’t get that here.
I promise I’m not a Karen, just a frustrated traveler😅
The food was good but the tomatoes tasted rotten and the vegetables weren't cooked all the way and the servers were on their phone the whole time and they never came to check on us and we got one drink and a to-go drink and there was not a lot of cheese on the nachos
Fire the girl with a bob and the ohana tattoo. She is so rude and slow. She got my order wrong, no problem. The problem is that when I told her she huffed, puffed, and rolled her eyes. Me and my friend had to wait 2 hours because she was tending to EVERY TABLE but ours. My drink was empty and she never once checked on us or gave me a refill. Then when we told her the bill would be separate she sighed again. I usually love this restaurant, it is the only Mexican I eat. I recommend it to anyone who asks where they should go but it will be a while before that happens again due to her poor service.
Best salsa in a 100 mile radius. Love the street tacos and Mr. Burrito. Honestly I've never gotten anything here that doesn't taste excellent. Great staff as well.
The food is good, the restaurant is nicely decorated. The biggest problem we saw are the employees glued on their cellphone. We came past 11am for lunch, the waiter never came back for the extra plate, eating fajita can be messy and they think you will eat the fajita in the hot plate it came, had to look for someone to get the plate. Had to wait almost 20 mins for the bill to be paid, did not informed me I had to pay it in the register. Communication is very important! We are just passing the area to get something to eat. The staffs should pay more attention.
Stopped in here for takeout while visiting Kentucky. Very yummy! And service was very friendly!
Food was just ok. It was not well seasoned and came out between warm and room temperature. I ordered steak tacos and the meat was tough. We ordered limes and the waiter brought us yellow lemons. I would not go back.
Spent the night at the super 8. There it was. Take out, oops no bar, the best salsa, hom emade tamales, great pork chili rellanos. Glad I went

Fantastic experience. After being stuck in traffic for hours while trying to head home to Michigan, we decided to stop here. The restaurant was right by a Holiday Inn Express where we could stay the night, and they were open until late so we would be able to eat.
We arrived a little after 8pm. The restaurant had lots of people there (a full restaurant is always a good sign!) but they still had room for us to sit right away.
Staff were helpful and ready to take our orders right away. The menu has a lot of really tasting looking options. Once we finally made decisions (with help from our waiter on what choices were best), we relaxed as we waited for our food.
But… wow! The food came out SO FAST. And it was delicious! I had a margarita on the rocks. It was perfect. And I had a fajita taco salad. I’m usually disappointed by taco salads, but they are a memory from my childhood, and having fajita ingredients sounded promising. It was AWESOME! Ingredients were fresh and full of flavor.
We would definitely eat here again if traveling through.

Dietary restrictions: I have celiac and there are plenty of great options. I like fajitas or Fajita Nachos.

Was staying in a nearby hotel and decided to dine here. The food portions were outstanding and very generous. I had the pineapple chicken, and it was delicious! Highly recommend it. Now, don't get me wrong, the service was okay at best. Maybe they were having a bad day or possibly just tired. However, the interaction i had with 2 different servers was not the best. But they still managed to check up on me, so I really appreciated that. Overall, I would recommend this area, and remember, the portions are very generous.
