Traveling thru town and arrived to a sign on the door “opening late due to staff shortages “
Lesson learnt, smaller restaurants call before going.
Don’t miss this on your diners and dives tour of the USA. Eddie and Clara are absolutely the best bartenders I’ve ever had. The friendly atmosphere is unlike anything I’ve ever had. I came for a drink but stayed for the friends for life. Gotta try the pretzel!
Be sure to greet Eddie with “hey Batman”

We came up to Williamsburg from Knoxville to visit the casino for my husband’s 40th birthday, and stumbled upon this absolute gem of a pub—what a fantastic surprise! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Every staff member, from the bartender to the kitchen crew, made us feel right at home.
We had our kids with us, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. One employee mentioned having kids himself and was just a genuinely great guy—so easy to talk to and kind. It’s clear this place values family and connection.
The food was incredible, and I have to say: hands down the BEST pretzel I’ve ever had. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and made with care.
Even though it’s a little over an hour from home, we’d make the trip again in a heartbeat just for the experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing food, a family-friendly vibe, and top-notch service. Truly a memorable part of our trip!

What a great little place. We walked in on a quiet Saturday evening and were treated to some great food and drinks. Don't miss the Country Boy Shotgun Wedding for a beer, or the Chicken and waffle smash sandwich. Service was spot on. We'll come back again!

Looking for a late night meal in a small town on a Saturday night can often be a challenge. The Butchers Pub more than satisfied. A grilled chicken BLT with onion rings and butchers burger with fries were just the right way to end our six-hour drive.
We sampled some local brews, had a good time with the staff, and left very happy. We’d certainly do it again! Next time I want to try the “Build Your Own Nachos” using tater tots. That has some serious potential.

You have hours of operation, but you leave the doors locked without warning or a sign. Called with workers inside and chose to pick up and hang up the phone immediately. Spoke with locals and had the same response with my experience. The food looked good in pictures.

Great little spot in downtown Williamsburg, Kentucky. I ordered the Butcher’s burger, which was really good. My wife and I enjoyed the tater tots as well. Great little spot. If we overnight here again, we’ll definitely be back.

I won't be back ..the chicken tasted like a wet dog smells .. do not recommend, 🤮
The food was fabulous. Hearty portions that is well made. I've never had a French fry so thick. its cut by hand, made fresh in the morning. Freaking great!
If you're a beer person, then try their beers. Locally made and well balanced.
The people were very friendly and welcoming. We didn't have a single problem. They were ready to get us whatever we needed and gave recommendations on what else we could see while in town.
Only complaint, menu is a tad different than what is posted online and it's a little dark.

This is a really cool place to visit for good food and good drinks at fair prices.
The place has a great look and feel to it, there's some cool history here and the food and drinks are a hit.
There's indoor and outdoor seating, live music, etc. If you're in the area, it should be on your list of places to go. We'll be back, for sure.
