Visited 9/25/25. Enjoyed our conversation with the owner as we learned of his passion for wine making. We called ahead of time since we were 'off season' for the area. Enjoyed a flight which shows his attentiveness to what we were picking and not picking. Based on our conversation, he suggested (and gave some samples beyond the tasting) that were wonderful. We ended up buying bottles of his recommendations along with some amazing wine jam. We always appreciate owner interactions in smaller wineries as they often pickup on hints from what we like and we usually end up making additional purchases. Such is the case at Hamon Haven. Prices are quite reasonable. If you are doing the Lexington vineyard scene, make sure this place is on your list.

We were able to taste Hamon Family Wines at the Farm to Table event in Winchester, KY on Saturday 7/20/19. Very nice evening and one of the hi-lights was our bottomless glasses of wine poured by the Hamon Family. We will be stopping by soon to do a tour and visit again...

Andy and Hamon Haven Winery is the perfect winery experience. Family owned and operated, they offer the best variety of wine. Just make sure to call ahead as this local winery is also his beautiful home. We’ve been to multiple wineries and this is in our top five. You can tell how much he loves his winery just by hearing him talk about it. Absolute must try!
