This place is hidden at the main corner of the town. We were able to smell the large real wood smoker out front where they had prepped the meats. They're known for their popular pulled pork sandwich. Also consider their smoked sliced brisket sandwich. They do have barbecue sauces, but always try the meat first to determine IF or How Much you need. If you like the smoky flavor, like I do, you'll probably forego the sauce and enjoy the savory experience. Had the creamy coleslaw, which was a great compliment for the brisket. I normally prefer a tangy or lightly peppered coleslaw, but this was not bland at all. The smooth flavor paired well with the meal. Also grabbed the Ale-8-1 Ginger Ale that's an eastern staple. Definitely a good quick lunch stop for meat lovers.

I just had the best experience with Kenny today. The company and conversation was as good as the food, and the bbq was dadgum delicious. I felt blessed to have come in around 2 and nothing was going on, so I got to know the owner and chat about life and virtue and pride in children and caring about the little things that make all the difference in the preparation of his meat. 9 out of 10 meals I spend in solitude on my phone which can seem nice, but this is the 1 out of 10 times I really look forward to. I felt like I had gone back in time where people are unnecessarily kind and remarkably grateful to know you. This was a treat for my belly, AND for my heart. I'll see you again with my kids next time Kenny. I wish you abundance and peace until then my friend.

The food was amazing, and the brisket sandwich I got melted in my mouth. The fries were fresh cut potatoes, and the baked beans were great too. The host and waitress were very friendly and down to earth, I would stop by once a week if I could just to support them because they were so nice.
The pulled pork sandwich is delicious, tender, and flavorful. Coleslaw is made by hand and highly recommended. Atmosphere is simple and cozy with a friendly staff.
