A couple of friends and I decided to try the BBQ here yesterday for lunch. First, the food was excellent. What really made this so enjoyable were the owner and other gentleman helping out there. It was so casual. They made us feel welcome and like we were family. We joked with them and laughed until we hurt. It’s missing the fancy but filled with heart. The prices were good and we will definitely go back.
This place is hidden at the main corner of the town. We were able to smell the large real wood smoker out front where they had prepped the meats. They're known for their popular pulled pork sandwich. Also consider their smoked sliced brisket sandwich. They do have barbecue sauces, but always try the meat first to determine IF or How Much you need. I just had the best experience with Kenny today. The company and conversation was as good as the food, and the bbq was dadgum delicious. I felt blessed to have come in around 2 and nothing was going on, so I got to know the owner and chat about life and virtue and pride in children and caring about the little things that make all the difference in the preparation of his meat. 9 out of 10 meals I spend in solitude on my phone which can seem nice, but this is the 1 out of 10 times...
